i guess you guys didn't notice when the grim reaper offered her the tea which she was supposed to drink in order to forget her memory she smiled and said "i won't be drinking the tea" and to the goblin she says "i'll come back/or i'll find you again" or whatever it was...that is why she didn't forget her memories at the end and also says " i found you"

I think this ending is so well done - because after all those times of Goblin and Grim Reaper trying so hard to save her life, openly defying God - it was by her choice, and by her own autonomy and by her own kindhearted nature that she died - not even God got a say, because it was a human's will. In a way, they had to contend and make peace with her death, the loss they experience, and the reincarnation cycle as a lover and a close friend, to reach their happy endings. I've really enjoyed waiting on these the past few weeks, rewatching this by proxy of y'all, and I've loved watching your reactions ♡ thank you.
Interesting fact: they went to Canada near the early stages of filming this drama to shoot all the Canada scenes (most of the Canada scense were early like ep 2-4) but that means they had to also film this last episode's last scene that early also, without knowing or filming any of the middle! The 2 main leads got a synopsis from the writer of what would happen in tha middle, but the actors hadnt filmed the bulk of the show, nor had they built that bond or history between them yet. So for them to film that ending scene with all that emotion of "finding each other again" with no experience of the context of their relationship - that was incredible acting on their part! P.S. the actor, Gong Yoo, got the best actor award for his Goblin role in the Baeksang Awards (korean equivalence of Oscars/Emmys). P.P.S. the screenwriter for Goblin (who also wrote The Glory recently) also won the Daesang (Grand Prize) which is the highest award possible!

man, i watched this drama in 2017 when I was a senior high school student. I mean, I casually watch kdramas before but goblin left me in awe so I became an avid kdrama fan. I recently graduated from college and I saw your reaction to this. Thank you, it reminded me of the good times. This will always be a top drama for me.
Ok, for everyone that missed it. He never saw a physical version of Eun Tak in the past. He was eating at a restaurant and her teacher was serving him tea in her previous life. When she brushed against him, he saw a vision of her future life in the classroom on graduation day. In the vision from her teacher's future, for a brief moment, he sees Eun Tak behind some flowers. Rewatch that scene and it will all make sense. You'll also see him right after the graduation when she has the camera, putting flowers in front of her face and then her moving them, but he grins and does it again because he's reliving that vision that he had hundreds of years ago.
this bothered me as well😂 i was like, yo yall watching till the very end episode and still believe it was eun tak serving him tea. these 3 havent been reading comments, but it’s understandable, i was confused about that at first too that I actually have to rewatch the series to fully understand the whole thing

Sunny and Grim Reaper actors have a drama together called Touch Your Heart. It's actually similar to their reincarnated life on here, except he is a lawyer😂
With Sunny and Grim Reaper, I get why Sunny chose not to be with him. Think -- if the man you loved was also your husband in your previous life but in that life HE KILLED YOU?!? It would be hard to forgive that/come back from that. So, I get why she couldn't bear it during that lifetime and chose to move on instead. Heartbreaking, but I get it. I think it's also good that her and Reaper didn't keep their memories the way Eun Tak did because their memories came with way too much heartbreaking baggage. They got a full circle ending with the ring and going to Heaven together and then they got to start over from scratch, which I think is beautiful. - What makes this series bittersweet is that, besides the Goblin, NONE of the characters we met throughout the series actually got a "happy ending." Goblin and Reaper got to live together as besties in the main timeline (and I'm of the mind that their story was the real love story of the original timeline). But they didn't get to be with their true (romantic) loves until 100 years later. And, Grim Reaper and Sunny will probably never know Goblin and Eun Tak again (although, I imagine that Eun Tak and Goblin "run" into Goblin and Sunny and become friends with them without ever telling them about their past -- at least that's the ending I made up, haha). So, it's this beautifully bittersweet ending, yet really well done.

Not sure if yiu've watched a Korean period drama but i highly recommend Queen Inhyun's Man where I first watched Sunny. It's kind of a time travel series which is a concept I always enjoy 😊 other time-travel stories would be Mr. Queen and Live Up To Your Name 😊 til your next adventure... 🥳
Quick cultural background on the grim reaper's tea (from a Chinese perspective but should be pretty much the same as the Korean one). The sole purpose of the tea is to wipe the memories of your past life so that you start a clean slate once you are reincarnated. If you brought your past memories into your new life you wouldn't be able to live that life to it's fullest potential as you would constantly be held back by the sorrow and desires of your past. Imagine being born and remembering how you died.... it's super creepy. Or if someone did you wrong in your past life and you spend your new life trying to get revenge - it would be exhausting. Always best to live each life in isolation from the rest. Of course in this case Euntak had a reason to keep her memories intact as it just so happens the one she loves is immortal - also being bff with her reaper kind of helps as the tea is usually a compulsory step prior to reincarnation. I would recommend "See you in my 19th life" which explores the concept of what happens when you remember your past lives - it's an interesting one if you enjoy reincarnation fantasy. It's been great following this series - gave me a chance to revisit this brilliant drama whilst looking forward to your reactions to all the best scenes - you guys are a lot of fun!
I know u finished this a long time ago but when goblin talked about seeing her in the past he meant he saw her highschool teacher in the past and during that meeting he saw the teachers future with ji eun tak in it … I hope this made sense

I've always go back here to watch your reaction to goblin, everyone's reaction is so good😁 I have some good kdrama to recommend that i think is worth watching, it's "Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo" which is a romcom, and "I'm not a robot", if you have time you can react to them then it would be great!
There is a kdrama series with the same actor and actress as the grim reaper and sunny that apparantly is meant to be them in their next lives. It's called touch your heart.
My favorite drama 🥰 For me (and for the sake of my mind xD), in Ji EunTak last life, God can be nice (for once) & let Kim Shin grow old with her, for them to have at least once "normal" life together... Really like your reaction, hope see another from a drama I love 🙂

Another great korean drama you should watch is 'A Korean Odyssey' its really good. Also a few more are ... While you were sleeping ,Hotel Del Luna, Pinoccio, Heirs, He is Psycometric, Bring it on Ghost, and Mr. Queen. There's alot of good ones but these are my go to's when recommending.

This series got me to love Lee Dong-wook! When you get a chance please watch "Tales of the Nine-tailed" 1 and 2. Especially 2. ROFL. My late husband came from a family where sarcasm and backhanded comments were all said in love. This reminds me of those days. Especially the 2nd season. I laughed so hard. Gotta love the Lee brothers. And Kim Go-eun in "The King: Eternal Monarch" was fantastic too. Parallel worlds and a lot of good twists. Great casts, some playing doppelgangers of themselves. I think Woo Do-hwan (who also does "Bloodhounds" actually steals the show. So so good. I hope you get to see this series too.
Re-watching Descendants of the Sun, Weightlifting fairy Bok joo or Strong Woman Do Bon Song would be so amazing but to be honest I'm always so happy to see you guys enjoying these kdamas. Gonna miss see you all smiley and all watching these two sweets yet chaotics couples lol.
Please watch Bad and Crazy! It is amazing, comedy action drama with a bit of psychology. It is interesting and one of the main characters was the Grim Reaper from this kdrama Goblin! :) Please check it out!
33:15 This show displayed the Bride's first life. The Goblin had visions of the future. Remember that he was trying to describe cell phones and selfies over a meal in a time before phones. In other words, there are 4 lives and y'all pulled "phases" out of your butt. =)
the ripper did not let her down or hesitate. they parted. y'all kept forgetting idk. Goblin even mentions how it's his punishment from her to not be with him in that life time.

This was my 2nd kdrama after watching my girlfriend is gumiho, i was in moving on stage where kdrama helped me alot to distract myself and after itaewon class please consider watching The K2 drama of ji chang wook it's soo good action, romance, sentiment. i would like to watch it with you guys again.

I've always go back here to watch your reaction to goblin, everyone's reaction is so good😁 I have some good kdrama to recommend that i think is worth watching, it's "Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo" which is a romcom, and "I'm not a robot", if you have time you can react to them then it would be great!
There is a kdrama series with the same actor and actress as the grim reaper and sunny that apparantly is meant to be them in their next lives. It's called touch your heart.

Another great korean drama you should watch is 'A Korean Odyssey' its really good. Also a few more are ... While you were sleeping ,Hotel Del Luna, Pinoccio, Heirs, He is Psycometric, Bring it on Ghost, and Mr. Queen. There's alot of good ones but these are my go to's when recommending.

This series got me to love Lee Dong-wook! When you get a chance please watch "Tales of the Nine-tailed" 1 and 2. Especially 2. ROFL.
My late husband came from a family where sarcasm and backhanded comments were all said in love. This reminds me of those days. Especially the 2nd season. I laughed so hard. Gotta love the Lee brothers.
And Kim Go-eun in "The King: Eternal Monarch" was fantastic too. Parallel worlds and a lot of good twists. Great casts, some playing doppelgangers of themselves. I think Woo Do-hwan (who also does "Bloodhounds" actually steals the show. So so good. I hope you get to see this series too.

This was my 2nd kdrama after watching my girlfriend is gumiho, i was in moving on stage where kdrama helped me alot to distract myself and after itaewon class please consider watching The K2 drama of ji chang wook it's soo good action, romance, sentiment.
