The underrated funny part of the scene is that Andy is the only one legitimately concerned about the swans "attacking" and wants to investigate further lol
The great thing about Curb Your Enthusiasm is they use a mostly classical score to denote mood mostly silliness, than contemporary music... much like old cartoons used to like Bugs Bunny or the like.
To JoeTube27: The music when the swan comes after Larry is Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King." The music at the end of the clip when they're sitting in the restaurant is Schubert's "Moment Musicale no. 3 in F minor."
My dad, brother, and I all watched this episode together for the first time a little while after it aired, and we exploded into laughter the minute those feathers flew
Possibly my favorite line on the whole show. The first time I saw this episode my then girlfriend walked in just as he said that and I was laughing so hard. She had a look of total disgust
Having had a very similar situation myself only w/ geese, I cant stress enough that this scene is not exaggerated in the least. During a high school golf practice, two of my teammates and myself had to walk across a bridge w/ geese. One goose got particularly agitated and started running towards us from the opposite end of the bridge and when it got close flew up in the air a bit and Ill never forget when he opened is bill and started hissing with a big tongue! I was terrified. I was in the middle of my teammates walking single file on this narrow but long bridge. One of them took a club and swung at the goose, missed, and somehow hit me instead, knocking me down and my clubs nearly falling out of my bag into the running creek waters. Luckily she only hit my bag which was on my back. We were screaming and managed to escape the goose somehow after that. We ended up having to walk on the cart path completely out of the way of where we needed to go, but there was no chance in hell we were going to go anywhere near those geese again. I kid you not, geese /swans are TERRIFYING! Larry was acting in self defense! This scene was very realistic
I absolutely love how intelligent Larry's comedy is. Black swan event is an unexpected yet explicable event - killing a black swan is in itself, a black swan event!
I doubt a swan would do that in real life but in the context of the show, with a very rare one in a million rabid killer swan coming at Larry, and it would be just Larry's luck, he had no choice but to defend himself.
Swans are pretty, sure. But they are mean SOBs. My sister got chased by one once. It chased her all the way from this pond to the door of our friend's house, and then when she shut the door it banged its beak on the glass for like 5 minutes. She was 7. She was terrified!
@pablodagreat the first episode i watched was the reunion episode about two weeks ago. its good but not nearly as funny and ridiculous as the other episodes. this was the second CYE i watched and i was hooked!
"You tell your wife EVERYTHING?! Are you CRAZY?!" - that whole rant from Jeff was classic!
"The only time I tell her I'm playing golf, is when I'm with another woman! OK? You gotta cover your tracks."
What a closer.
That and "I dont even bring her around anymore, out of respect." Jeff came up with the best lines this episode lmaoo
Tell them everything... Within reason of course
And he is so right . . .
"Oh this is horrible! Oh it's horrible! This is horrible!" LOL classic episode.
He’s amazing at being annoying af 😂
Well ... at least he didn't cry out, "Ih the humanity!"
First time I saw this episode I completely lost my sh!t when the swan charges him! The build up is just so wonderfully hilarious. Only Larry...LOL!
funkhouser cracks me up everytime he opens his mouth
Larry has the audacity to tell them to pick it up when he killed it...genius! Haha
The underrated funny part of the scene is that Andy is the only one legitimately concerned about the swans "attacking" and wants to investigate further lol
"We're all in this together. No wives!" Haha!
Said the one that cheats as the other two did not have any wives.
The music during the swan scene makes it so much funnier.
The great thing about Curb Your Enthusiasm is they use a mostly classical score to denote mood mostly silliness, than contemporary music... much like old cartoons used to like Bugs Bunny or the like.
I’d say Larry is a big looney tunes fan
A sign of high quality art, unironically. Love classical music
@@lol_work a sign of liking royalty free music
Or in that case with the music, Sonic the Hedgehog.
"The only time I tell my wife I am playing golf is when I am with another woman." If those aren't words to live by, nothing are.
Fun fact When you left this comment I was 6
@@danieldunagan7110 lol damn, I love this comment. I was 20. Now I feel old as fuck ha
@@danieldunagan7110 I was 30, now I’m 40 NOW Thats OLD
Hi Jeremy, it's your wife... This is what you've been up to for 10 years. I'd like to file for a divorce.

"In the Hall of the Mountain King is one of my favorite songs!"
i love the music.. its so perfect
My dad, brother, and I all watched this episode together for the first time a little while after it aired, and we exploded into laughter the minute those feathers flew
"that black swan was a menace, they should have put it away years ago!"
wait until they find out the reason most swans attack people is because they just wanna protect their baby cygnets from people who get too close.
My favorite episode of all time. Just comedic perfection.
"oh this is horrible"... that guy is the best
I lost my shit when the swan came charging at Larry! 😂😂😂😂
This episode is fantastic, I love the part when he gives a big tip to the waiter, US$ 500, hilarious.
What sticks out to me the most? How SMOOTH Larry's swing is looking!
I remember laughing so hard when Larry's cousin says "Oh this is horrible!"
Jeff's "golf-woman" line is morally repugnant but totally hilarious. I love Curb.
Possibly my favorite line on the whole show. The first time I saw this episode my then girlfriend walked in just as he said that and I was laughing so hard. She had a look of total disgust
1st is in the hall of mountain king, an excerpt form grieg's peer gynt op.46
2nd is schubert's moment musical no.3, an orchestrated transcription
"The only time I tell her I'm playing golf is when I'm with another woman!" LMAO!!!!
Andy is such a brilliant character.

@Yvonne Bowe Are you always looking over your shoulder?
@Yvonne Bowe lmao
Afraid of swans and geese. Wow.
Was there also Tomb of the Unknown King playing?
this episode fucking rules
1:18 - "Hey! No wives, NOBODY!"
It becomes like a mafia hit, LMFAO.
Now all we need is Larry at a golf course in Florida trying to get his ball back from an Alligator
this has gotta be one of the funnist thing i have ever seen on tv. no joke!
"No you pick it up you killed it!"
the music is classic..
I've not seen Black Swan, but I imagine this one scene was more enjoyable than that entire movie.
watched this last night on More4 , one of my favourites so far , absolutelt brilliant
I don't know what's more heinous. Larry murdering a harmless swan or Andy wearing socks with sandals
I absolutely love how intelligent Larry's comedy is. Black swan event is an unexpected yet explicable event - killing a black swan is in itself, a black swan event!
Man I fucking hate swans. They WILL attack you for no damn reason.
"this is a- the love of his life" lmao
I think this is one of the best scenes in curb history
I Laughed out loud so hard at 0:43
hahaha, years later, still laughing. these are classics
I watched this clip like 20 times, fkn love Curb. We have to call Animal services.🤣🤣
Haha. One of the funniest curb moments.
0:59 "It was at this moment, Larry knew...he f***ed up"
By far the best episode: who agrees
Final score -- Larry 1: Swan 0.
Funniest shit ever taped
The music makes it soooo great. My favorite scene by far.
This episode was fuckin great, one of my favorite ones
"enjoy the swans" hahahaha definitely my favorite episode.
what is this song called????
sparklepup In The Hall of the Mountain King
John Shepard by Edvard Grieg
The song at the end is an orchestral version of Schubert's Moment Musicaux in F minor.
The best bit is missing, his cousin says, 'Oh why did I order turkey'.
Kyoko...RIP
I doubt a swan would do that in real life but in the context of the show, with a very rare one in a million rabid killer swan coming at Larry, and it would be just Larry's luck, he had no choice but to defend himself.
Thelook on Jeff's face whent he other guy says he tells his wife everything. The very idea!
One of the top 3 episodes of this show.
How did they do this, that dead swan looks real.
@th1sisnotr its the fukin music man, its so perfect, slays me every time!!
Richard has had this character down for years.
roffel. that is awesome, new season is great so far!
I love richard's mannerisms.

this is the best episode ever lol
Nobody's calling anybody!
amething i felt when i killed my nabors ferret when i thought i was a rat
In all fairness, the swan did attack Larry unprovoked.
SODESKA!
All of them started noticing black swan everywhere after killing it. lol
you must have a great imagination then, they're both great.
i remember watching that episode i lost my shit, laughed so hard dang guy is a genius!
In Larry's defense swans are mean. Like pitt bulldogs with feathers
Haha only Larry can get himself in this kind of trouble.
The only time I tell my wife I'm playing golf is when I'm with another woman
Fuck that was one of the funniest thing i have ever seen!!! lol
It's that fateful moment when he realises that yea that black feathery bastard is actually charging and he has to defend himself. It's primeval.
amazing!
Whoever doesn't laugh at this has no sense of humor.
Or has a pet swan.😏
fucking hilarious - he's golden
we call that a birdie
HAHA.... "The only time I tell her I'm playing golf is when I'm with another woman."
HEY HEY HEY HEY KABOMMM
Swinging like Jeter.

hahahaha i laughed so fucking hard when i saw this the first time
what's the music at the end? Is it from "Swan Lake"?
I pissed myself with this part lolol
Larry has never played street fighter
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL sooo freakin funny!!!
Hysterical😁
I thought i saw every Curb..but of course i missed this one of Larry murdering a Swain..
Murder... Or self-defense?
He leaped at me!
@pablodagreat the first episode i watched was the reunion episode about two weeks ago. its good but not nearly as funny and ridiculous as the other episodes. this was the second CYE i watched and i was hooked!
