That's how I feel with Crash Twinsanity's OST composed by acappella group Spiralmouth. It's incredible. As a Crash fan, how difficult/different is Jak compared to Crash?

Back in the day a friend said to me, you like tool don't you? Want to go see Maynard's new band? I freak'n love Tool, yes lets go! That n8ght we were in awe with APC at the Viper Room just before their first release.. it was perfect 🔥
I would have loved to have been at that show. Saw them in 2001 just after Mer de Noms was released. Out of the dozens of shows I've been to that one stands out to me so much because even though it was in a larger arena, it was general access everywhere and there was a much smaller number of people there, so it actually felt more like a little club. Very intimate, very relaxed, Maynard was telling really really cringe jokes while they were having technical problems in the middle of the show and all of the house lights were up. It felt so fucking surreal because it felt like such a little local show I really couldn't believe it lol. TOOL of course was huge at the time and I just couldn't believe that I was that close to the stage, Maynard having the demeanor of just like joking around with an interviewer. Nothing at all like the heavy atmosphere of a TOOL show. Saw them another 3 times in the following years. Still my favorite vocalist of all time. Billy is one of my favorite guitar players and Josh Freese is number 2 on my list of favorite drummers.
Would really love for MJK to lay vocals over and breathe life into this unfinished piece of art. Perhaps something to return to in his later years; to put a bow on this unearthed jewel and cast it upon the audience to cherish. So much potential locked away from everyone; quite possibly enough to fill in this void in a time when music seems to lacks sincerity and creativity from a once adored era.
Boggles me why MJK didn’t it’d have been a great follow up to 13th Step, but it probably would’ve been sporadic like Fear Inoculum’s sparse lyrics, you know how Maynard’s funny about shite

Instead of Maynard, how about some of the more fiery female singers out there (Billy originally wanted a female vocalist for APC) for vocals? Hayley from Paramore or Lzzy Hale come to mind, as does Amy Lee from Evanescence.
