내용 :
1963년 영국의 안무가 Frederick Ashton 경이 Rudolf Nureyev 와 Margot Fonteyn 당대 두 최고의 무용수를 위해 특별히 안무한 Marguerite and Armand 라는 작품이 있다.
특히 이 작품은 "Alexandre Dumas" 의 "La Dame au Camelia" 와 "Verdi"의 오페라 "La Traviata"라는 거의 같은 줄거리를 담은 이 두 작품을 30분 길이의 리스트 피아노 소나타곡에 풀어냈다는 것인데 예전부터 대작인 작품을 이런 형식으로 재구성 해 보는 것에 대한 관심과 흥미를 항상 가지고 있던 찰나 바로 이 곡에 "로미오와 줄리엣"의 스토리를 담아 재구성하게 되었다.
등장인물은 원작에 나오는 주요 인물들 중심으로 작품을 재구성하였다.
등장인물은 "로미오"와 "줄리엣" 그리고 줄리엣의 "유모"와 줄리엣의 "엄마"와 "아빠", "파리스" 그리고 "신부"이다.
이번작품의 영감에 가장 큰 역할을 한 "신부"와 줄리엣의 엄마 이상으로 줄리엣을 아끼며 사랑했던 "유모"의 역할에 많은 비중을 두었다.
이번 작품에서 "신부"의 역할이 중요한 배경은 본인이 예전에 출연했던 현 모나코발레단의 예술감독이자 세계적인 안무가인 "Jean Christophe Maillot"의 "로미오와 줄리엣"에서 경험하며 느꼈던 많은 경험 덕분이었으며 평소 가장 존경하는 예술가들 중 한분인 그에게 이번 기회를 통해 다시 한 번 존경의 마음을 전하고자 한다.

In 1963, there is a work called Marguerite and Armand, specially choreographed by British choreographer Sir Frederick Ashton for the two best dancers of the time, Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn.
In particular, the two compositions, "La Dameau Camelia" from "Alexandre Dumas" and "La Traviata" from the opera "Verdi," were released in a 35-minute long list piano sonata, which was always interested in reconstructing the masterpiece in this format.
The character reconstructed the work around the main characters in the original.
There are a total of seven characters, including "Romeo" and "Juliette," Juliet's "The Nanny," Juliet's "Mom," "Dad," "Paris," and finally "The Bride," who played the biggest role in the inspiration of the film.
More than Juliet's mother, she put a lot of weight on the role of "the nanny" who cherished and loved Juliet.
The important reason for the role of "The Bride" in this work is because of experiences in "Romeo and Juliet" by "Jean Christophe Maillot", the artist director and world-renowned choreographer of the Monaco Ballet, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my respect once again.
