Thanks for your service I am retired military, put some heavy clutch springs easy job, will fix all the clutch issues on that bike, put a cheep slip on exhaust will dump about 5+ lbs and sounds better, and let's the engine breath, K@N air filter, air filter box mod and then have the ECU Flashed and you will be very, very happy and some quality tires after you eat the stick ones up. In joy the bike.

Add on to my comment I now see Kawasaki has the 2022 now at 46hp with mods done above you could be in very high 50's to low 60's. Recommend Two Whell Dyno for your flash. Also saw some one added comfort to sit up even striaghter and take all pressure off your wrists if needed. the bar risers no issue 20 min job tops 4 bolts, with line he only cut the strap for the brake line for more room other lines no issue, which I also did to my MT09. The seat issue get so.e seat gel on ebay so vinyl you like and a staple gun and spray glue, did my MT09 and my CBR1000RR seat was a east job just take your time doing it. Ride fast ride safe.

I agree, but only if you actually ride the crash out with your helmet. I had a bad wreck because a car rapidly stopped in front of me, lost the use of my left arm for awhile and was bedridden for some time. When I hit the ground, my helmet made contact with the ground for a tiny fraction of a second, and only just put a small scratch on it.

I just bought the same 2022 krt ninja 400 last weekend, put 300 miles on it already. I don't have trouble getting into neutral, but sometimes it has trouble getting back into first. So i rarely ever put it in neutral at stop lights. I have a few times and it wouldn't wanna go into first and I would start panicking because of the cars behind me. It's weird tho, when I'm just starting to ride for the day, or leaving a gas station or something, it will go into first no problem.

I see that you owned an MT-03, but what do you mean by it being "glithcy"? I'm asking because I rode one for a few miles and for some reason felt so much better with it than with the Ninja 400, more confortable, the sound it makes is not as high pithced as the ninja. But then again, I only rode it for a few blocks. I also like to travel, like 400-500km every once in a while. Could you please exchange a few words with me since you owned both?

Disagree on your 300cc recommendation. I would go with the Z400 even over your bike, seen both like your but those decals have to go to give a clean look. To kid like for me the Z400 is more comfort and better handling, ya you deal with wind but no big deal, drop a wind screen if a lot of highway riding. It is cleaner looking than this bike, and I think a better platform especially for a newbie riders is a better option, unless your looking for track days down the road then go with yours.
