The song "Stars Of Darkness" is supposed to
represent Traumacore. It is a type of aesthetic
imagery people use to cope with past trauma
they experienced during childhood, such as
emotional, physical, and many other types of
abuse. Traumacore is more of a type of art
therapy or visual journaling than an aesthetic
for those who have (or have experienced) any
sort of trauma,
The character you are singing with in that
song is Kuromi. Just like Melody (The female
sitting next to Girlfriend), she is a rabbit. Both
characters and other various Sanrio and Hello
Kitty characters are used in some Traumacore
edits to represent its childlike yet disturbing
themes.

So for the Stressed out song i like to imagine that when she starts to freak out the beat is like her heartbeat increasing in her panic. Then whenever she is doing a long note it's her trying to take a deep breath but failing. Essentially i just imagine the whole moment after she starts to pull at the skin on top of her mouth that she is having a panic attack. Just humanizes her a bit you know?

As a fan of both weirdcore/traumacore and My Melody, I honestly really love Stars of Darkness. The fact there are actually phrases from traumacore art in the level is the cherry on top.

I dont know how to explain it but this radiates the same undescribable feeling from the vs gorefield mod, (and also dare I say, the brightside mod) the happy but unsettling songs that hint that not everything is what it seems, especially with the beautiful smile song, it sounds happy but also dreadful and fearful at the same time. Its incredible with the vibe this radiates. It feels very uncanny and I love it

Ahem, Community Game I know it was not with bad intentions but in the song "The Dark Desire" it was NOT a reference to the case of the murdered girl that was found inside Hello Kitty, it is actually a reference to the Creepypasta from "The true story of Hello Kitty" (and more than that the girl that appears has no mouth, representing the creepy one).
Please, I need you to correct that part of the video, since in a certain part it can get the creators of the Mod in trouble already for alleged disrespect to the murder case (believe me, actually for a few moments I tried to go to contact the developers by that, until me and my bf verified that this song referred more to the creepypasta case)
