@@2CrowStudios Yeah, some do it for the loot, some for the challenge. I'm mostly doing these to be able to clear my Wonderous Trails fast and also have some fun with those I've never done, going in blind and trying to figure out how to deal with the fight
I was soloing Shinru as a Paladin in Endwalker, definitely some of these, if not most, should be soloable now. But I do appreciate you taking the time to do this for us 👍
@@4felix8 yeah, they were all doable on a tank during EW, even though some of them were really not easy. Shinryu and Seiryu had a really tight "enrage timer" as I recall it. Now it's really easy and some of them can be done on DPS too.
Something I have to clarify : there's no Susano or Tsukuyomi in this video or the second part of it. Susano is still impossible to solo due to the way his sword phase works, requiring two people and starting at 75% HP no matter what. And Tsukuyomi, even though I know she can be done solo, I haven't managed to get the right timing on her meteors to get it done. One thing to note though is the fact that with my current gear (695 on Viper), I can get her as low as 15% HP (no echo) before Doom inevitably kills me, meaning she'll become pretty easy to solo once we get a bit better gear. Edit : You can solo Tsukuyomi Ex on a dps job. (check the next few comments, @Zelek06 gives à good piece of advice as to how)
Do you think Susano could be done with Dark knight with the help of living shadow + salted earth? You could be doing the mechanic while Living shadow gets the damage done, but honestly I can't tell if the damage will be enough, I haven't reached DT yet. Maybe it could be done with Ninja and Doton?
@@lumar2698 I doubt it. I didn't try it on Susano but I've had this same idea for Kugane Ohashi (Yojimbo/Gilgamesh) and his chain mechanic, but Living Shadow just won't target anything other than the boss (except for that one AOE attack it does, but that's not enough to break the chain), and salted earth just doesn't do enough damage and does not last long enough (same thing for Doton on NIN). There's quite a delay between the moment you get stuck in the animation and the moment you have to destroy the chain on Yojimbo or the orb on Susano. During the normal fight, it feels like it's pretty fast, but for this kind of thing, 3-4 seconds delay is all it takes to make it fail.
Try getting her down to 81% then when she starts to cast nightfall then pop all your burst. Get her to under 60% before she enters next phase. I did this on i705 MCH (no extra echo) and finish the fight just before getting the 5th stack that kills you.
I read this title and came in, thinking ,"No, you can't solo ALL of the Stormblood EX trials, Susanoo has a gate keeping Enrage that needs a 2nd person." Only to realize you didn't add him in either of your videos lol.
@@ryutheslayer123 No, 'cause as you've stated, Susano is gonna be impossible to solo (for a very long time, I believe, since his sword phase starts as soon as he drops at 75% HP). I didn't add Tsukuyomi either, because I'm still unable to achieve that perfect timed charge to make her drop one of the meteors at the right place. I could add those that are impossible just to show were you'll get stuck, but usually I just add a pinned comment about those. (Which I might have forgotten on these though)
You can solo byakko, you just need a class with a big enough shield to tank the state of shock. In itherword you need to play tanks for it but you can solo it, it's about 5 to 6 mins, maybe after a few tiers of gear we'll probably be able to skip the fall too

It was actually quite relevant to me since I haven't played in quite a while and wanted to see how this looks with current ilvl gear. Plus the perspective of a new job is also new and therefore relevant. Plus, I was looking at him dealing with the mechanics and learning. I could've learned that from an older video, sure, but that's a lot of checks in one go... So yeah, someone's garbage can very well be another's treasure, and I very much treasure this video.
@@Arcano_doce Yeah, besides an old guide of the fight would last 10 to 15 minutes and throw all of the mechanics at you, while most of them can be ignored considering the DPS we have now.
