Why do I imagine it slowly leads into werewolf egee falling for the protagonist, so some point it gets cute and gets wholesome romantic
Aye or it ends up being the exact opposite and it's dark side is a place no one wants to go. It suddenly becomes dark and threatening and feeds on people's fear. He resorts back to his savage ways and tears the very skin that makes the protagonist live and healthy. That is the side only a select few wish to see. And I'm not one of them.

Ya know, if I were a suspicious Werewolf I might start to think that Egee was behind my turning. I mean I was all alone at the ruins and the only other person who "happened" to be around was a Werewolf? Hmm.... Also now that I think about it he didn't really have a good reason for being there or even for carrying those brushes around. And the speed at which he moved? Night one grooming, night two engorged fire? Very suspicious... 🤔
