I'm fairly certain the Weapon they are referring to is when Tifa sees a weapon when she and cloud have fallen into the lifestream. That never happened in the OG.

This presentation showed alot but man were there so many technical difficulties with the stream😂 the translator dipped for a few minutes and got a new translator. Then the 2 translators kept going back and forth and then Sephiroth lead the stream into despair.
