As a fellow senior, mid-handicapper, I'm always rooting for Dave to play well. I've been playing graphite shafted irons for 2 years now and it's really helped my game in terms of swing speed and distance. The modern graphite shaft feels every bit as good as steel, IMO. Beautiful golf course there in Leeds. Thanks Chris and Dave.
I got fitted into Wilson Dynapower forged. Graphite shafts for the first time. Only had 1 round with them so far, but I love them.

Just been fitted by lawrence at SGGT.
He did say I could have had new shfts in my old clubs. So saving me money...but I've had them since 2016 so treated myself to the newer version srixon zx7 and swapped my 6 and 5 irons for hybrids. The best facilitie and experienced fitters down at SGGT.

Yes took the plunge and got fitted by Ping. I am very happy with their work recommending very light shafts so I am now building up my bag to better match my correct specifications.
Just changed to a lightweight (not -fitted) set of graphite irons from steel. Way better, so much so that I’m having the same weight and flex shaft (after a test fitting) swapped into my Vokey’s, as they now feel like swinging lead weights. The other thing is that there’s little weight difference through my bag now.
No new clubs this year. I am getting ready to turn 60 so I think some changes are coming. After watching Dave, Chris and James I am convinced that I should go through the fitting process for the first time ever.

I sent my Sim2 Max OS irons in to TAYLORMADE and got VENTUS 6 shafts and said bye to the MAXMT85 STEEL, when the Stealths were released. LOVE THEM NOW AND THEY ARE GREAT!!

I had a fitting and walked away with Ping G430 driver, 5 and 7 wood, the 7 wood is my go to fairway finder when faced with a narrow tee shot

Well coach, you and Dave have done an admirable job on the fitting, now is Dave is willing to take the next step. With the hiring of a physio, Dave may gain some flexibility, maintain his current flexibility, and possibly gain a little more speed out of his swing naturally.
