I would def say rott. Tho hip displasia is one of the common problems in large breed dogs like rott and gsd. It's more common in gsd. Overall it depends on how u care for them. But health wise rotts def have less health issues as compared to gsd.
I do not feed any complete food to my dogs but go the raw/barf route. I also do not feed from raised bowls as this is unnatural for a dog. I was lucky in being able to get plenty of raw meat, varying from tripe to horse meat, mutton and beef. Dogs fed in chunks they had to chew. Never had to have their teeth cleaned or empty their anal glands. My last GSD made it to 14 and was pts before the degenerative myelopathy got to bad. She was unhappy at being wobbly and out walking, often falling with her hind quarters.
You should feed atleast 4 times for 3 to 5 months puppies. After 6 you can feed 3 times. 2 times you can feed once he is one year old . Now he is puppy
@@lionheart1498 Not really they adapt easy The correct way is two times a day and Control the portions you feed them according to there age to cover up the other meals that you give them you can always give them puppy snacks Iv had 5 so far and all the breeders I know say the same thing two times a day For best died Yeah you can give them more But if you work and have to be outside from the house the dog will poop more so who is gonna clean that after you come back home From a 9 or hour shift ?

Pedigree pro is balanced food for dogs…I suggest pp…with boiled chiken just for taste 120gm at a time….and make sure you full fill his daily intake…don’t overfeed him…
You are giving excessive food. They should be fed morning, afternoon & night. Animals like Fox,Wolf,Hyena etc. eats only once a day that also if they are able to hunt their food but they remain healthy & live a long life. That is why wild animals are more alert & not lazy like pet dogs. We must not compare a human calories with animal calories intake. We must not fed our dogs like they are competing for some bodybuilding championships.
