As a drummer I enjoyed the deep dive into that part of his life! Great stuff. When you’re young you want the huge kit that all the rockers had in the 70s and 80s, and all the acoustic and electronic toys that Neil Peart had to be able to play along to those complex arrangements. But you eventually learn to also study and appreciate the details in drummers that do a lot with so little. Max Weinberg is another favorite- just absolutely kills on a kit made of the essentials.

Dana, I remember once upon a time back in 2013 or so when Jon Lovitz called into the Playboy Mansion and I answered the phone (I was one of Hef's Personal Butlers) and he requested me to ask Hef if you could come up as his guest to a Buffet & Movie 🎥 night. This was one the coolest phone calls I ever answered, so of course, when I was taking his soup to his room I asked Hef if Jon could bring you up as his guest and he couldn't really hear me since his hearing was less than normal, he finally understood me and granted the Green Light. I then let Jon know and I was on cloud 9 because I was making damn sure I was working when you guys were coming up so I could meet ya. Unfortunately when I saw Jon come up I greeted him and I was ready with Hef's camera and everything to get the picture ready but Jon informed me that you were under the weather. So far that is as close as I have gotten to meet ya. It would have been sofa king cool. But oh well, at least I get to listen to your podcast. Wayne's world was when I found out Dana could play drums. I haven't heard Bill though. Are there videos? Love all the of these guys!

Saw Meshugga open for Tool at the Tsongas Arena years ago. They were pretty good
