To be honest, for me as a beginner, this tutorial is more useful than creating freaking silver sprinkles on a donut
it teaches all the tools in the shed instead of randomly creating a model of something using random technics for a beginner
perfectly said !
@@schurup2994 but not everyone is a beginner, im max user and finally found someone whos teaching directly what you're looking for. if the tutor talks too much even beginner will run away.
YEAH, THE ONLY REASON WHY THE DONUT TUTORIAL HAS SO MANY VIEWS BECAUSE OF THAT CLICKBAIT DONUT, BUT IT DOESNT TEACH FUNDAMENTALS FOR BEGINERS
Its just a matter of taste, some people prefer to follow a complete project, some people prefer a review of the tools, its not relevant to compare which one is the best.
In my experience they're complementary, its usualy better to start with a complete project guide to grasp the power of the software and then aim at tool oriented guides to get more variety.
This really is a complete course, not like the tutorials on other channels, to start from scratch this is the right channel to learn the right way, the tutorials are practical, but I reiterate this is a real class on what blender is, I am learning with 4.0 this is very well explained thank you so much
Learning can be fun with a good teacher. This is the only video that made me understand what i couldn't get into.
The thumbnail alone is worth it.
blender is easy, but finding the right teacher was not, thank you so much for showing the full image of something💖💖
Finally someone who actually shows where to click and what effects that has even if its something simple like changing between object mode and edit mode
I learned so much in this one video more than 10 videos of that donuts guy haha. Thank you sir. you were born to be a teacher in my opinion.
I'm a beginner.
I was having the same problem at 49:30.
I shouted, "Blender sucks!", shut Blender down, abandoned my simple project and didn't turn Blender on for a week.
THANK YOU!
Liked and subscribed.
I have pass through many multiverse of blender tutorial and in all have seen this is perfect
Don't know how many "Thank You"s will thank You enough for all the tutorials you made for us. I really appriciate it sir, and also, You are very veryyyy underrated. I hope your work somehow does pay off because it really should.. Stay safe and healthy!
pro trick: you can watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
@Kyson Jamal yea, have been watching on flixzone} for years myself :D
@Kyson Jamal yea, I have been using flixzone} for since november myself :D
@@kysonjamal2721 Oh, thank you for sharing! That's nice. Hope you have a nice day!
@@canaanbrixton6712 Thank you too!
An absolute lifesaver. I am a beginner like a lot of newbies here and I couldn't find better videos explaining so detailed every tool and situations they could be used in. Especially appreciate for explaining the scale issues that cause a headache. Learning on 4.1.1 Blender version and who knew it would be still relevant.
I just doawload it today :)) I feel so nervous to start learning blender I feel more relaxing somhow after reading your comment :D
@KarimaG91 YOU CAN DO IT!!
@@BornCG Thank youuu sir 🥹🥹🩵
Perfect! At last I’ve found a Blender tutorial that doesn’t leave me wondering “what the hell did he do there?” The pace is good and I like the fact that you show us the traps that are so easy to fall into but difficult to understand what caused them. Thank you so much !
this is amazing, i was so lost in all of the tools! thank you so much for these tutorials
thank you!!! I love the annotations and conclusion at the end!
Awesome tutorial and comprehensive explanation of tools.
Thank you!
This is exactly what I needed to get myself reacquainted with blender after many years. Thank you! Liked and subbed!
Thank you, This is just what ive been looking for, you are legendary! very clear explanations🤩
Thank you for this, lots of other tutorials will start of with short cut keys and leave me confused because I can't see what they clicked on. You're an excellent teacher.
Thanks for showing this very helpful beginner tutorial and happy blending with blender.
Such a great series and teacher, thank you sir!
This is the best tutorial on editing mode and extrude tool!
You have become my #1 instructor for Blender AND Godot 4. Thank you!
I really appreciate your teaching, your tutorials are very applicable.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
thank you for making this tutorial, a lot of us really needed this one.
I fully agree with all the praise here. Excellent tutorial series. Thank you very much.
Thanks for taking your time to do this tutorial, much appreciated. Liked and subscribed long time ago :)
Thanks, I was really confused on the Edge slide and Vertex Slide, but this helped me a lot.
I have a hard time learning and looked at many videos , ur an angel seriously!! First time I felt like I actually understood everything
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve fallen down a blender rabbit hole. If this was one of the first videos I came across to inspire me to fall down that rabbit hole, I would have saved so much time searching for specific instructional videos that I did not yet have the language for. You are a great teacher my friend, and I’ve learned so much from this video that I didn’t previously intuitively know. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Absolutely incredible guide, best one on youtube hands down. Thanks!
7 minutes in and this tutorial is doing its job 😍love it
These video's are so helpful! We need part 5!
There is one lol
Awesome tutorial, inspired by your videos I have become a fan of Blender and opened a channel to post my creations during my learning journey. Thank you and keep inspiring.
This is a great tutorial. Excellent Job!!
thank you so much really i lerned a lot of things from you

yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm so excited that I was able to finally create something!!!!! Thank you so teaching me how to create a chair. very basic easy even though it surely did help.
The best tutorial I've ever seen!!!
You're a really good teacher. Maybe I'll finally begin to understand Blender.
I KNOW. i have been doing blender for like two years but i still dont know how to model 😭
very informative and helpful, thank you very much

Thanks, Colin 👍👍
Hello! Great editing and really good tutorial
what a great and brefe thigns which i never seen in my live i like it so much .. alot of thanks to your effort
at long last someone who finally makes sense!!! fabulous we as beginners need to know when to use these tools and why do we need to use them and I certainly need to know more about n gons and how to fix holes in meshes so far Ive been on blender two yrs and only know how to make a simple chair and table I have no idea how to fix issues on my own I have to keep trying to find a vid with a similar issue is an awful program to learn but I do want to succeed but ready to give up
I started Blender by following different kinds of tutorials, however my journey was to go and model random creatures I see in my coffee cup stains xD Being a backend developer I never had a knack for design so this is turning out to be really fun :D
Excellent video !!!
Excellent!
This is really useful for newbies I wish I have seen this earlier.
It was the best blender tutorial I've ever seen
thanks
Wow, thanks!
Brilliant thanks.
Hi! So apparently you teach at my school! I an also learning blender, so these tutorials may be very useful. Nice to meet you
Nice man ty
We are hoping to see the ladders and fireballs tutorial in next videosss , thankyouuu you are great
Thank you
Thanks for letting us know what version of Blender you're using.
Finally to the absolute teacher
These tutorials are great. Thank you so much. Can you please make a tutorial on rigify tool for a simple 3d character?
Thanks to all youtubers. I got it. You save my life. 😂
THIS IS LITERALLY BETTER THAN GURU DONUT TUTORIAL
FYI: In 3.01 no yellow handle with a yellow disk appears for the Inset Faces tool. Instead, you get a yellow circle around your selection; right-click this circle and you get a menu. Click 'Inset Faces' and your selection responds to your cursor's movement. I am not sure if this is a bug or a modified feature.
God sent, thank you. This was irritating to figure out lol 😂 😊
Oh boy i ready to make a fnaf characters
thanks u so much for making this video
I m was new to blender
I Search many how to model on blender
But i found this video and list and i m so grateful to see your channel
And i recommend to put your speed to high to ignore some things it can confused to u
Thanks man you really teach very good. i wanted to just ask that can i learn gdscript from your godot tutorial playlist? i watch your 2d tutorial, you really teach very good.
Thanks for making m
My friend need some tutorials
Sir, how to delete unwanted loop cut that we mistakenly made and noticed later?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this field, very informative and helpful to us.
You mentioned accidentally right clicking after an unmoved extrusion leaving remnants behind in the geometry. Is this also the case if I hit the E key, but decide to cancel the operation with ESC?
Not me just realized that my high school teacher has a channel about blender :))) Anyways thanks for making this video, it helps me making 3d models much more easier.
Just wanted to ask. How would someone go about making seams for car doors in Blender? You know for car models.
Under Linux with Blender 3.0, I can select an edge loop holding down SHIFT+ALT and then clicking on an edge, just ALT and click doesn't work for me
Oh sh!t!! I will start blender again.
I immedietly click on subscribe i mean this is so wonderful☺️
WOW
Can you make a tutorial about cutscenes and Gadot
How do you get your computer mouse icons on the screen to say what keys you're pressing? ctrl +V ctrl + B etc...
This is my teacher
Hi thanks for the video very good. Can you add materiales to a selected face in edit mode?
Yes you can!
How can a make small square pieces of a mess in blender and then show them they combine to slowly and make to model
Alt+click and ctrl+alt+click don't seem to do anything. Have edge select on and using the select box tool.
Double-clicking selects an edge loop though
Strange! I just taught those to my IRL students the other day (same as in this video) and it works with the latest version of blender. Never seen blender use double click to select edge loops. 🤷🏼♂️
The key. Select the whole draw in object mode. Open edit mode. Select the objects you want. Press P gi to object mode. You got it.
Please more godot tutorials
Learn blender first. stop whining
Hi I download unity is it okay to use it since I am a beginner.
Anyone know if you can use Boolean objects with selection modes? I want to make a Chinese moon gate model in a wall with the same circular shape but I'm not skilled enough to model it.
Can it be achieved with selection modes in advanced way paired with Boolean shapes for removing/hiding etc???
hey i am learning unity now (started learning 10 days ago) ,so should i shift to godot or stay for unity
Wow, super late reply. But here's my 2 cents. I'm a self taught coder / game dev for fun (not planning to ever make money, have a day job, just a nerd). I looked at unreal, unity and Godot when I got started about a 1.5 years ago. You can learn any of them. Unity is C based, if you already know C, unity is great. It's more 3D focused engine, for 2D it's actually harder to use. Unreal might seem like over kill (and you do need the setup to run it) but it's 100% geared towards making 3D games. Like Bender a ton of depth, but also a ton of content to consume. Godot, is a thing great for a persons first game engine. Especially if they have no previous coding knowledge. It uses GDscript which is a language only for Godot, but was written (based off python) for gaming. It's very easy to learn and understand. Also Godot is easier for 2D games.
IF you already have a project in mind that you want to create, anything will work. If you have no idea what you're doing and want to learn, Godot is a great place to start, then can move forward after that. If you don't want to actually do coding / dev, but more direct and arrange. Unity and Unreal have a ton of assets you can purchase / import and create from there. Godot has far less documentation and 'net support' compared to Unity or Unreal. But for messing around, there's a ton of content to work through.
If you choose Godot, check out the "Kids can code" channel on youtube. Just do the first game tutorial (which is also on the Godot home page).
@@Vejitasei thanks
Cannot select the mesh and then select the armature on MacBook air keyboard ? if any one know how...much appreciated... i've tried ctrl, shift, option, command...
Hello I was wandering if you'll ever do a totorial on a 3 platformer in godot
Perhaps!
Hey you actually responded thanks!
I meant 3d lol
I want to learn too, what laptop is best for Blender?
As long as the laptop is newer than 2013, it should work. A laptop with discrete graphics (Nvidia or Radeon) is best. I’m an Nvidia guy. 😉
i cant see a shape slider in the bevel menu
What happened? Your haven't been back for a few weeks atleast. Hope ur all good. Thanks for everything
I'll be back soon! I have been busy stacking up many tutorial recordings for ahead of time!
oh! on Blender 3.0 the insect tool appear like a circle
