We clear MC in like 1.5h and don't even collect world buffs.
Seems like there's more time spent getting buffs than its actually worth.
Getting world buffs is awful on a PvP server when the odds of losing them is so high. I'll farm Elixirs and the Blasted Lands consumable since you pop that inside the instance (or, like, in front of the first boss).
The time you waste collecting world buffs is much more than having a 20 minute slower MC clear for sure, so yeah, total waste of time.
Oh what they released Shadowlands early on mobile ?? Always knew retail was heading in that direction ..

I usually run some guildies through tribute the night before, log off. try and log on for ony buff, that's it. but honestly it's not absolutely necessary we comfortably clear in sub 2 hours with most of the raid having no world buffs and taking it at a chilled out pace
Yeah asking because it seems silly when a partial pug group that isn't full of terrible players can clear in 3hrs with no buffs and a couple of breaks mid raid.

There are sane buffs you can grab. Ony/Rend and DM tribute is sane. That list PunkRat rattled off was not sane. Besides, you loose most of those buffs on Garr anyways.

We have 3 raid groups clearing MC 10/10 from 8-12 2 nights a week different days per raid group

Don't get me wrong I would really love a raid with more mechanics (no, retail is not an option...) but it seems all toned down.

Not worth getting raid buffs depending on how un balanced your population is. Last time we got raid buffs and ran to MC, an ass load of shamans were at the mountain purging them off of us.

Since I avarage 2-4 hours of playtime per week I can only dream of raiding.
Marcus Nibell most guilds are clearing in MC in about 1-3 hours
Once you get a character to 60 the hardest part is running dungeons for BiS (or near to that) blue gear. After that you can join pug raids that usually pop up in the LookingForGroup channel, especially right before MC reset. So try and keep two nights clear, one for gearing up and farming stuff, one for pugging MC.
Well. Those 2-4 hours are not in one sitting. Usually I can steal 30-60 min at a time. Since launch I’ve maybe logged 40 hours.
Stealing time doesn't work very well. I highly recommend scheduling evenings (like I said, two is ideal). These relatively short bouts of time are horrible for running the content that gives you the good items (dungeons). I speak from experience. They're good for racking up rested xp of course thankfully.
I can’t schedule playtime. I have a 8m/i son and a wife with postpartum depression. If I don’t steal playtime I won’t get any at all

So marketing what is in essence a mobile idle game with microtransactions. If you compare all the youtubers bought by raid you'll notice that they all say almost exactly the same thing, because that's in the contract.

Everyone makes it seem like you have to do all these buffs and do so much work before raid. I kno it helps for sure but my guild has never ever done this and has downed Rag every lock out for months.
