Hello my friend 😊 I dried my toppers in an Ac room.. Have you added cornstarch when working on it? Also you can add a little bit of cmc/tylose powder 😊😊

Hi again Elite Cakes 😊😊 If you dry the fondant in an AC room and the fondant has hardened, you can transfer the fondant into a sealed box. Or it can still be placed in the room, even though the AC has been turned off, the door of the room must be closed so that it is not exposed to wet air from outside. Prepare the fondant toppers before you make the cake, it can be 3-6 days before making the cake. 😊 thanks for your appreciation 💕💕 Glad to hear that 🙏

Hi Sonu, I used a scissor with a small tip and slightly bent. I bought it at a stationery store. however, to cut the skewer you can use any kind of scissors 😊👍

Hi Anne 😊😊 I used basic fondant decorating tools, you can find them at a cake supply store.
Other tools such as:
- flower wire
- Silicone brush, you can buy at a clay art tools store.
- watercolor palette (for the fondant heads) you can find it in bookstores. 😊

Hi Ritika😊 thanks, glad you like it 💕 Usually I add cmc to the large parts of the fondant only. For small or thin parts of fondant, like making clothes, shoes, heads, hair, there is no need to use cmc. And since 10 years ago, I also never used cmc and did not know about cmc yet, and I dried fondant figures separately (legs, body and head), after the parts had hardened, then I stick them together. 😊😊(fyi, I dry my fondant toppers in the AC room)
