I was about ready to give up on my 2020 Casita SD but really can't afford the Escape 21 to avoid the crawl over situation. This gives me hope!!! • @Sunny-jq2bi
      @Sunny-jq2bi Před 2 lety +3

      Hello David, the Lagun leg mount is somewhat square. What we did was slid the mounting leg that came with the Lagun table right down inside the existing table pole that comes with the Casita for mounting their table.
      We then drilled a hole through the Casita pole and ran a bolt through the Casita pole and through the existing holes that the Lagun table leg comes with for height adjustments, so that just the top of the Lagun table leg was sticking out. Then we attached our table that we made and had already attached the Lagun table mounting plate that comes with the Lagun table.

      The bed is 76" long, but that's on the straight portion. The curved portion is smaller. If you want a Casita with a longer bed, the Independence has twin beds that are 83" long. You'll still have to duck when you are inside the Casita as there is only 6' 1/2" in the interior and the bathroom is even shorter because of the curve.

    • @TravelsandTravails
      @TravelsandTravails  Před 2 lety +2

      @@OPSteel97 It will slide right in, but since the Lagun table post is so slim, it needs to be attached to the post so that it doesn't flop around. Here is how Louise did it: the Lagun leg mount is somewhat square.
