This is actually what I was terrified of. He's now trying to appeal to a Western audience. He's trying to go mainstream instead of remaining a Niche Cult. I don't think this is going to be good for him. The Chorus saved this song a little bit. It's like Tokio Hotel type vibes. It's admirable that he's trying to do something different & new. But I don't understand why he's trying to "cater" to or appeal to the Western Mainstream taste rather than making the West come to him. I mean he is the Bruce Lee of music in the sense that he Can do all the styles as evident in his voice. But this might be a wrong direction from him & his team. 🤔😕 He is supposed to make the West come to him like he's doing at the moment.
That's where you're wrong. These songs are just for his concert. Because people from all over the world come to his concert. He's not shifting as per say but trying to make concert songs and he likes to rap from the beginning. It's not something new that he's trying to copy from the west. The west is anyway trying its best to avoid Dimash. Because he's like a Tsunami to their music industry. He's unique and out of this world that's why, west is scared of providing a platform to him. Apart from that language barrier is also an issue.
