    The plaque on the right with a flashing ? by it doesn't say Chapman on it. What's that about, even the Barmaid couldn't tell us.
    It must be to commemorate a famous person that once lived there?

      The plaque is the Fermanagh GAA Crest and bares the name Maguire, which refers to the Maguire Clan and Maguires Castle in Enniskillen, this was renamed Enniskillen Castle by British invaders.

      According to History Chapman is not Irish and neither is Rice...

      nor is Lanesborough or Woods - me.
      Oh the shame of it all.
      Fagan is Irish and they don't seem to like invaders.

      The Butlers did use Lanesborough as a surname in the English Census & Electoral Rolls, see:
