Thanks for the video.
God bless you woman!
Dear keenyn I love your teaching
Thanks a lot
Great video as always. I know that English is not a phonetic language, but it would be a lot easier if the words you mentioned that really need to be pronounced with a "z" were spelt with a "z" instead.
Imagine the word busy spelt in the dictionary as "buzy". Going even further an replacing the "y" with the "ee" and the "u" with "ih" sound so it becomes "bizee".
It looks so weird seeing it spelt like that. I wonder if we ever get used to if all the words in the dictionary were suddenly replaced with the way it was meant to be spelt.
Yes, my friend, that would be SO much easier! Let's start a movement! 😊

Can we pronounce "basic" with "z" sound ? I am confused
Because the rule says if the s comes after a vowel it is pronounced as /z/ so why I hear "basic" with /s/ sound all the time?
Great!

You are the best ❤️
I’m very perplexed by the difference in pronunciation of “vision” and “mission” as far as the “z” sound is concerned. The two words look similar, yet the “s” in “vision” has the “z” sound but those in “mission” doesn’t. Could you enlighten me, please ! Thank you, Keenyn!
Wonderful.....
Brazilians don't have a big problem on this. However, they have a problem to pronouce "s" like an "s" when it is between two vowels because in Portuguese an ""s" between two vowels has "z" sound. Amazing tips as always!
That’s interesting because in Spanish is the opposite thing
