Praia da Alagoa - Altura

A Praia da Alagoa, por vezes referida como praia de Altura ou praia de Alagoa-Altura, situa-se na freguesia da Altura, concelho de Castro Marim. Encontra-se integrada na Baía de Monte Gordo e é ladeada a poente pela Praia da Lota e a nascente pela Praia Verde. Dispõe de equipamentos de apoio.
É muito frequentada no pico do verão. A boa qualidade das águas e o extenso areal são os seus principais atrativos.
Praia da Alagoa , sometimes referred to as Praia de Altura or Praia de Alagoa-Altura , is located in the parish of Altura , in the municipality of Castro Marim . It is integrated in the Bay of Monte Gordo and is flanked to the west by Praia da Lota and to the east by Praia Verde . It has support equipment.
It is very popular in the peak of summer. The good quality of the water and the extensive beach are its main attractions.
Located at the southern end of the Troia Peninsula, the huge sandy beach of Praia da Comporta is much sought after by holidaymakers due to its easy access, combined with ample parking space.
Being on the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, this beach is a preserved natural space, where the original dune vegetation is preserved, surrounded by pine trees.
The sea, with some waves, has good conditions for kitesurfing, with some competitions taking place here.
