Great review! My real issue with this aircraft is the performance hit. inibuilds needs to address this. No way Fenix using external app should be getting 30fps more than this.
I have the same problem and issue, I gonna contact support, I would write them that too, if enough people report that they will try to change it
I don't have problems with the Xbox X with this plane, but incredibly the Honda Jet (paid) is giving problems, it freezes many times for 2 or even 3 seconds... Clearly the update has affected the programming line code of this plane, maybe because they work with the Garmin 3000 for the first time long time ago
@@FyoutubemadridMadrid the simulator is crazy for example I have no problem with the Honda or also Vision Jet since Update 15, (PC) well everyone has another problems is almost not possible to fix all issues from Asobos side. Cause everyone use another system or Plattform
@@newgeorgexciExactly. Unlike many games that are basically fixed, where the code is standardized, the level of code required for MSFS2020 is insane. From the scenery, weather conditions, terrain, positioning, lighting, systems, to the very Garmin itself, and so on. It's incredible, no one can imagine the thousands of lines of code happening every second. This simulator is mind-blowing, especially if you know programming. Like most new games, it's astonishing when you look at the lines of code. It will surely improve a lot with AI, but for now, we need to be patient. It's incredibly complicated and complex. People think it's just pressing a button and that's it, like autopilot, but they don't appreciate the thousands of lines of code behind it. :) see ya

For a freeware, this is amazing, I love the fact that it has Vnav and complete FMS which I hope FBW would implement soon.
I think the descent rate issue occured while setting the destination QNH.. I loved this video !!! Great !!
It’s nice they simulated bowed rotor motoring. The faster rate of climb I think was more due to the fact that CLB thrust was higher than FLX, but maybe there is some door drag included. I hope those bugs you mentioned will be sorted out, and things like proper flare nose down input will be simulated. RF legs need some polishing too, AP does not follow them correctly. No moaning, they just set the bar so high. Considering the changes they made in such a short time, I don’t think this would be a problem for Ini.

A great and honest review - I must say we are so lucky to have the choice of this, the FBW and the Fenix. I for one will be using all three (I used to fly out in the Fenix and return in the FBW but I will have to change my aircraft assignments now!). LatinVFR the other 32x series developer in my opinion needs to catch up.

@@A330Driver Agreed, in explanation my point was to make a wish and a challenge for LatinVfr to improve. It is a difficult proposition when we have a relatively high fidelity simulator accepting a range of high to low fidelity addons. At least LastinVFR does not claim to offer high end products. It is clear from reading comments in various media that many people are buying low end products by mistake and or lack of experience, not realizing thse limitations. Buyer beware!

This machine jumping certainly isn’t normal, the only “jump” you should see is for speed reductions. If the descent speed is below the cruise speed, then and only then, the speed should jump down.

I love the A310 from iniBuilds and still love it, but the A320, the light and texture is much better, amazing update, you can see and feel the improvement, it would be nice if they updated the A310 like the A300.... I Like both airplanes, I prefer to fly the A310 because it is more "manual" than the A320, it is undoubtedly a great airplane but the feeling is not the same, it's so automatic, it's like a computer... incredible job, imagine where we will be in the next 10 years.... :) nice video, thanks

Direct Shortcut instructions on approach is a problem I'm having with BATC.. I would be om a Star following the GS perfectly on the green dot all the way down when ATC sends me direct to a waypoint closer to my final approach point resulting on a much higher descent profile forcing a go-around!
These are things pilots should anticipate and plan for. I did a couple videos on altitude management and energy management, I can highly suggest you to check them out.
It’s pretty sweet for a free default aircraft. However, I was conducting an autoland at kmia on 8R and it thought the runway was 50 feet AGL so it was flaring 50’ above the ground 😂
Obviously still some bugs to sort out.

Once the fp is starting deleting a wp distrups flight plan. Starting a cost index cannot change airspeed, and yes I’ve been flying online since MS95

I agree as long as personal issues stay personal issues and don't become public beefs like they have in the past.
Its an ok aircraft. The sounds during takeoff are weak compared to the FBW and I cant get it to follow the constraints on the flight plan when descending I had to switch to v/s mode. Also not all approaches are programmed into the mcdu. The aircraft feels very floaty and light. The FBW would still be my go to.
I’m glad other devs are tackling the A32X family as well, but I’m so partial to the Fenix these days as nobody has really came close to the fidelity or the performance (especially with block 2 ver 2) that I just don’t have an interest in flying any other build, I would like to see them focus on other Airbus types (A33, A35, A38, etc) I would say even the A319 or A321 but I know Fenix is actively working on adding these variant as well to their series.
As a complete aside, on thing that has been driving me crazy with the most recent release of the Fenix is the art department’s bug with the stitching on the FO’s seat, where the stitching outline texture stays static in free space when you adjust the seat fwd and aft… I wish they would have just released an immediate hotfix for this. Its almost unnoticeable to most (and not noticeable if you don’t adjust the seat) but one of the first things I do when entering the flight deck for a C&D non-turnaround flight is adjust the position of both seats so it’s one of those things that’s been annoying the hell out of me.
As a matter of fact if anyone knows if there’s a way I can fix this myself (by maybe temporarily deleting this texture?) let me know 🍻🍻
It is very good, I think the FBW is probably better both for systems modelling and also sound imo, but the graphics and little details on this one are so nice I think I will spend a lot of time with it just for that reason alone. It does really bother me though that we can have nice things like the working side-window sun shades and even the window themselves being openable on the ground on this free A320n but iniBuilds decided that we can't have that on the actual payware aircraft like the A300 (even the tray tables and foot rests in this work!)

One small thing ive noticed is with gpws landing flap 3 selected,i still get the too low flap gpws callout.
I tried that in my previous video with this plane as well but it worked just fine.
Remember to switch flap 3 landing on the gpws overhead panel

Hello, you make great videos, thank you. I don't have an INIT request to load the flight plan in the MCDU on the 320neo v2. Why might I be missing this?
Did you set your Simbrief pilot ID in the FMC....go to MCDU menu and click on the second option to set it.
I really like the iniBuilds A320neo, the only thing is during rotation (V1,VR) you have to pull back on the stick pretty far in order to make the nose come up.

Did you set take off trim depending on you center of gravity? If you're not sure, set to 2% and see how that feels.
Before taking off do I set the trim for example 1/0.4up or do I leave it zero. If I set it zero does the plane automatically put it to 1/0.4up.
You have to do that manually, the plane doesn’t do that

I have an issue with A320. The RAD/NAV frequency page for ILS does not populate itself after insert the ILS approach. Only VOR frequency does. I must put manually the ILS identity of runway to select frequency. How can I solve this issue?
I havent been able to fly the plane, every time I load it and hover the mouse over the tablet they turn white not allowing me to disconnect the Power Unit or do anything at all.
So question… when I use a pre programmed flight plan from MSFS it dosent follow AUTOPILOT why is this and how do I fix it?

The PTU is not audible from the cockpit. You hear it only in the cabin.
Anyone else having an issue where near the top of climb, say above FL260, even in managed climb, you find yourself flirting with AFLOOR and stalling, forcing the aircraft into TOGA Lock?
Once that happens it’s like a roller coaster up and down unless I take manual control, lose about 3,000 feet of altitude trading for airspeed.
Haven’t had this issue myself, do not properly deactivate TOGA LOCK after you exited those conditions?

The DIRECT page of the ini A320 looks a bit different compared to other Airbus Sims across the other simulators. Are ther airbuses with such a DIRECT page?

No. It is downloaded automatically as part of the SimUpdste 15 package.
4K textures and the modeled cabin are available as free optional download from the marketplace.
I tried using the plane but I could not get nose wheel steering to work. The turn radius of the thing during taxi was atrocious. Tried binding NSW buttons on the controls to no avail.
Go into the EFB, set rudder controls tiller to ON, auto disconnect ON.

It's really hard for me to get excited about this we already had a great a320neo. Nothing against ini because they make great products. But this seems like a missed opportunity to bring something new to the sim like a true A321neo (Horizon Simulations LVFR mod by their own admitiion still needs some work) An Ini A321Neo would have all the system and features presented here it just be in the new 321. I feel the a320 is becoming the new 737 in the sim. There will be various versions everywhere 😂
Agreed! A321 neo would have made more sense. I'm not even going to fly this because I've already heard too many issues. I'll Just fly the fenix. Waiting on them to release the a321 and the sharklets
The problem is only a select handful of us had a great 320 and 320neo. The other half didn’t as neither Fenix nor FBW were available on marketplace.
when you approach and change to visual approach, do you just turn off AP and follow the FD?
And clean up the flight plan, aka dir to rad to the last waypoint

While I like the new A20N I still wonder about the FlyByWire "case" - iniBuilds never said a word about the claims regarding stolen code, yet they decided since to encrypt the files. They did the same thing on the A310 but from start and told (iirc) that there is no other way for them to publish these aircraft (which obviously is not true).
To me this is a bit fishy on both aircraft so maybe they used some FBW avionics code on both to progress faster as systems are the most complicated thing. For "freeware" (or commissioned work) they might want to keep development time rather short.
They went dead silent indeed. And so did the FBW team. I just hope there were no Microsoft lawyers involved who might have threatened anyone who doesn’t deserve it.
Hopefully FBW team got a settlement from this and got paid...personally I think that would be the best case scenario.

Coming from direction of travel to develop SIM flying skills to progressively gain experience to emulate real Airbus pilot training.
Importantly from own investigation , have found that NEO2 does not support:
1. FS2Crew for Flying pilot and monitoring pilot processes and flows training.
2. Your Controls for dual pilot training which works well with FS2Crew.
3. FSIPanel for excellent simulation flight training including full OFP and fault training. Works well in conjunction with FS2Crew and Your Controls, allbeit with a few duplications of commands, such as Request Pushback and Startup and Request to Taxi. In Fénix FSIPanel Star approaches works well with Your controls and FS2Crew.
4. Third party flight controls not mapping. Example Logitech multi panel altitude change . Hence Spadnext or similar mapping tool required that requires detailed product knowledge.
As a comparison NEO2 supports little of above and on occasions not at all.
Hence your summary of Neo2 as a good if not best default aircraft to date is very accurate. Not to be confused with study level aircraft . Hence for this Fénix is still way to go.
As a comparison not made ,FBW does not support FSIPanel advanced for faults and advanced training scenarios. Nor is it study level .Hence Fénix by exception is most appropriate for detailed Airbus A320 flight simulation pilot training .
Your recent detailed 15 part Airbus 320 training series is excellent , much in use with FS2Crew and Your Controls. and FSIPanel. Neo 2 is great for those flight summers not wanting the complexity of a full study level aircraft and wish to learn and enjoy, before advancing to above considerations .Thankyou and much appreciated.

1 in 5 of my flights are successful due to the aircraft freezing.
Guys, I'm on Xbox, and so far I haven't been able to complete any flight on this aircraft, during the cockpit preparation it just freezes everything, and that's it. I'm really looking forward to giving the A320 a good try (I'm a Boeing guy), but so far nothing. Has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it?
I know the FBW doesn't do RNAV. Does this neo do RNAV?

Is there a rule of thumb for how hot the temperature needs to get before you use a packs-on takeoff? Obviously the weight and runway length factor into it, but for instance if you’re flying out of Phoenix, AZ in August at 115F, your passengers would turn into soup if you kept the packs off for taxi/takeoff.
Not really, but remember for taxi you can keep them on anyway, they only need to go out 20 seconds before setting takeoff thrust.

I like the texturing on the Inibuilds and overall feel of the cockpit, I do however think the FBW flys better and has more depth to the FlyByWire systems....I'm not a pilot so what do I know, but I wish FBW would do their enhancement on this Inibuilds aircraft and model. That would be perfect.

As per the real Airbus, yes. You need to manually command the start of the descent.
Thanks for that info! I selected commanded altitude, initiated descent, then selected managed mode and continued descent. I thought perhaps the FMC planned altitude (4000A) was the problem, but if you say I need commanded mode to descend, then I stand corrected!
I use In-game ATC and everytime i try to click it it dosent want to click it just hovers,this is without ai controlling with it it dosent even hover or click any reason why?
Look for the “call” button above the VHF radio on the radio panel. Turn it on and then it’ll work 👍🏻
Turn the volume up after you push the call button
Call button, volume dial below it turn up, then click it in to disable mute.

No, it’s not. Make sure the audio control panel is set correctly.
@A330Driver I mean the ATC clarence for IFR flightplan with the default ATC of the game, You need to load the Simbrief flightplan manualy into the game before starting de flight to recognize it, that sucks. FBW A320N integrates this manual reconnaissance when entering the flight plan in the MCDU
Does anybody have issues that they cant turn on ground, or atleast find it hard to turn and know how to fix it?
This has been addressed in so many places already, but you need to set the EFB options - Rudder controls tiller to ON.

To be fair, I haven’t flown on the cockpit of an A320neo yet so I can’t say for sure. What I *can* say though is that you’d be wearing an ANR headset anyway so you wouldn’t hear the engines at all.
@@A330Driver I especially mean the outside noise when you make inflight videos in "drone mode". Or is the sound level too high and it's a clipping / compression artifact from the streaming PC? Thanks anyway for the reply, I think the cockpit sound is OK though

I couldn’t see any issue yet. Sure it’s not the same as a 777 in TOGA but it seems fine.
Flex Tkof is buggy in ini320.. Better to just go with toga..

Are you on Xbox? As far as I know Xbox can’t handle it and thus they made it available only on pc

ms / asobo did not do this aircraft themselves they bought it from INI. so in fact its payware too, however free for the end customer. As this aircraft does not has any additional NEO feature besides the different engines its only a different variant of the A320. no SLS / GLS no FLS, no OANS. no navigraph charts which is a bummer. will continue with fenix i guess.

What is your comment even trying to prove? We're always going to judge freeware by whether "end customer" is paying or not. Asobo or INI is irrelevant in that context, as everything that is being done, is being paid for (Asobo also pay their staff). It's just as freeware as all those free World and Sim Updates, which are as well made by a lot of 3rd parties (Gaya, Working Title).
A great plane but the performance as almost all Inibuilds products is not good especially Multiplayer turn ON is unflyable

It’s not glitched, you have to turn it on at the radio panel in the center console. Call button, volume dial, disable mute.
Hello Emanuel. My name is Dan Fruck. I would like to address my concerns regarding the pmdg 737 for Microsoft flight simulator on Xbox. What the team should really be focusing on in regards to improving the 737, is accessibility for people like me, that fly the 737 and are completely blind. This issue was found on all 4 variants of the 737.

For questions like this it’s best to open a supportticket directly with PMDG, they’re the only ones who can help here.
To be honest, I wouldn’t really know what could be done to make it possible to fly the plane blind. Boeing obviously didn’t design it that way and I don’t know what kind of interfaces might be available to make this possible. Best to discuss this directly with PMDG.
I don't understand why simmers and CZcamsrs / streamers aren't complaining about the horrible takeoff and landing physics of ini320.. Takeoff with flex takes up the entire runway to accelerate.. Landings are extremely floaty with flaps 4 and idle thrust.. Sounds are horrible compared to fenix and fbw a320.. Only thing I liked was exterior and interior modeling.. Love the weathered effects.. Flight model is terrible and I have to park it in hangar until they release an update.. Since it's freeware I'm not expecting any quick updates..😢
For reference, I am able to butter my fenix and fbw landings within the TDZ.. So it's not about skill.. This one doesn't behave like an airbus or even a narrow body.. Lands like a glider..
Fully agree with you, and even the model is a bit shotty too. I don't see a real purpose to use this over the FBW A32NX, this is just lazy.
The plane itself is ok nothing special, but I really really dislike the EFB of Inibuilds.

if you're a serious simmer, then it's as good as a default+ aircraft. Nothing more.
Most self declared “serious simmers” will not even know the standard operating procedures to get the most out of this A320, what’s the use of higher system depth then?
All pun aside though, I think this plane covers the majority of procedures you’d normally use on the A320. For the vast majority of simmers, if they invest some serious time mastering it, this one is quite good.

@@maffarickI bought the cheapest version when it was launched and about 2 years ago the most expensive one, when there were no planes for the Xbox, for example the DC6, right now it is not worth buying the most expensive version, there are plenty of paid planes... With the paid planes like pmdg, iniBuilds and others, you have more than enough, plus the extra planes like the 787 are visually very nice but they are not studio ones... I would not buy the most expensive one again.... I would rather spend the money (89 € that the upgrade cost me) on planes like PMDG and iniBuilds
