I remember Japan won from a very good Iranian team before. I was surprised that Iran team won all 3 sets this time.
Super game, Love this match so much, both Japan and Iran have a strong tactics. Japan i like no.14, promt fight all the time and no.19 have a good fast ball and good teamwork,and no.12 player is good score. Iran all have a strong ball, Love both teams.

UNFORTUNATELY this game was almost the last game number 11 of Iran, Kazemi ever played for his country. His injured or torn thigh muscles prevented him from continuing to play Volleyball. Japan of course found a new hero, NISHIDA, who propelled Japan to number two team in the world in 2024 VNL. FOR ME THIS WAS THE MOST EXCITING IRAN TEAM MELLI.
An amazing contest between discipline and power what a clash. Enjoyed every bit of it!!

this is a straight sets win yet the time length of the game is almost as if this was played by an average 4 or 5 set game, that only means that the defenses of both teams are impeccable, congrats to Iran one of the best in Asian volleyball

bro where do you get rules where you can go home in a tournament this big, of course you have no choice but to fight but what I mean is japan just got outplayed by iranian players. As I can see with all the feints and unexpected plays also iran have height they took that as an advantage and you can already see who wins. Look at the set score bruh its 3-0 japan couldn't even win a single set, it is easily predictable after the leading score in the last round. all I can see is the japan team caught off guard with the unexpected plays. And as a player myself I know these situations bruh.

I'm not a volleyball player but I have been a volleyball fan for years. I watch a lot of volleyball although not an expert. From my pov, I think the the Japan's setter is not deceptive enough in his play. He's good though, but Iranian setter is better at unleashing the true potential of his players. Most might say that it's the Spikers or MB that's not strong enough in their attack but if the set is not consistent, not high enough, too close to the net, then they cannot find their way around the blockers or their spike can be a awkward and they end up got blocked by the tall Iran team or giving the room for the Iran team to counterattack them. I mean if u watch the match, u can see that their points r close. So in terms of potential of Spikers it's almost the same yet again every perfect spike comes from a great and consistent set. I guess that is what Japan r lacking in this match.

If i were the host, I would be ashamed of my inability to provide Hawkeye. I mean, it was in 2021, and it was in Japan - they could only provide video clips! 😂
Well, the only competitions that provide hawkeye are vnl, world champs, world cup, olympics... Other tournaments like this one, regular club leagues, even CEV doesn't provide hawkeye.

@@pramudya_jkt I don't really know? I mean, I don't think it is a matter of "is it allowed or not" I think it might be just a thing of the different confederations? Like European volleyball, Asian volleyball, and club leagues, maybe they try to adjust budget choosing wich competition they can compromise the "hawkeye challenge system" or not. Again, I don't really know the reasons of it being a thing in major competitions and not others, take this with a grain of salt, this is just me speculating.
