Gastrin || Function and mechanism of action

This video talks about the physiological importance of gastrin.Gastrin is a peptide hormone that stimulates secretion of gastric acid by the parietal cells of the stomach and aids in gastric motility. It is released by G cells in the pyloric antrum of the stomach, duodenum, and the pancreas.

ive only read on the alcohol part.
but its something to do with the parietal cells' intrinsic factor. too much alcohol, prevents Vit B12 absorption which will result to Vit B12 deficiency
