Those retro flowers were on the walls of my bedroom, large size, when I was a teen in high school in the 1970s. Another great video! Sounds like you will be getting more experience in making videos while Jenny and Ron are on their mission trip! You and Natalie will continue to lead the ship with great tutorials!!
How fun that you had retro flowers on your walls growing up. We're looking forward to the AMAZING tutorials to come from Misty & Natalie while Jenny & Ron are on their mission.
This could also be really cute with race cars for a little boy. What a fun quilt!❤
Totally!!
Oh yes! Nice idea!
Hearts for Valentines, Shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, Bunnies and Eggs for Easter, Trees and Wreaths for Christmas... The possibilities are endless!
I love this. It will be great for my gifts of comfort. I also want to give you a big thank you. I'm older. I have trouble getting out to buy fabric and patterns etc. I also have been apprehensive to buy fabric online. But I have never been disappointed in the fabric I've received the color and quality are great. Even a wide back mystery pkg. I think I got as a daily deal. Being a retired widow I have to count my pennies. But I always get my money's worth. Thank you so much.
Ahhhhhh thank you sew more the sweet compliment. We're thrilled to hear that you feel like you always get your money's worth. Talk about the best compliment we could receive. ❤️
@@MissouriQuiltCo I tell my family when I pass just bypass Heaven and send me to Missouri Star
That is awesome! You're the best!
When I first saw the quilt I thought no I don't want to make it. But after watching your video I really like the pattern and I think hand stitching the flowers on with coordinating embroidery thread would just up the beauty of this Quilt even more! Thank you for the great tutorial
This is gorgeous!
Love the video! I'm doing mine in vintage fabrics. Sort of a play on the Grama's Garden quilt.
I really like this pattern. Thank you.
So cute! And you could cut out all those flowers on an Accuquilt cutter, or on a Scan N Cut.
I have an Accuquilt Go & lots of dies-great idea!!
Hi Misty, I have watched all your tutorials , but this quilt is definitely my favorite ❤
Sew happy to hear that you enjoyed this tutorial. Thanks for tuning it, see you next week for another fun At Home episode.
Love this quilt! About 5 yrs ago I made a black and white Irish chain quilt just like this. I did not quilt it yet. Thinking about adding the appliqué.
Than you Misty. Always enjoy your videos.❤❤
Oh so cute! This could be scrappy as well!
Thanks Misty...this would be a darling baby quilt.
Misty that was your best turtorial ever! Love the flowers!!!! Ty
We are sew happy to hear that you enjoyed Misty's latest tutorial. Thanks for tuning in!
You could add a different fabric for the center. Very cute!
Very nice. Is there a paper template included in the pdf pattern for the flower?? ❤ NZ
There is a digital download for the Flower Child Quilt Pattern. You can check it out here: www.missouriquiltco.com/products/digital-download-flower-child-quilt-pattern-by-missouri-star?Social&
Way easier than the hexies I've been hand sewing for two years.
You're a rockstar for hand-sewing those! We hope you find this easier and are able to implement it easily into your process.
Great idea. I will use this for a baby quilt I need. Thank you.
Vwry cute quilt with many possibilities 😊
Cute and easy to make! Thank you.
Such a cute quilt and so easy to make. You could easily switch out the flowers with a different shape and have a fun cute quilt.
We like the way you think!
You could use several different shapes in the squares. Chuck the Duck, cars, butterfies, etc. A themed quilt, table topper etc. would be great.
Sew, sew true!
And I was thinking the gingerbread man template of theirs for a Christmas one!
Such good ideas!
Thank you Misty for this cute pattern. I have to wait for my husband to make a deposit so I can order the templet
Great pattern! I’m thinking picnic quilt maybe little bit bigger. The possibilities are endless! Thank you for a great design!
A picnic quilt would be perfect. You're sew right, the possibilities really are endless with Misty's most recent design. We hope you have the best quilting this beauty!
Very pretty, Misty!
So pretty
Love the quilt Misty and the ease of making the blocks. I will make a table topper and a table runner. Small projects are my thing. Once again thank you for the inspiration. Take care.
I love the flowers on this quilt. It looks easy enough for me to make. Thanks. 💕🧵☀️🌸
I love this cute easy quilt. Thanks.
Absolutely Beautiful ❤ Thanks again Misty ❤😊
Misty, you are adorable! I love this quilt and can’t wait to make it.
It’s absolutely darling!! Love it. ❤
Such a sweet quilt, Misty! Thanks for the tutorial!
Scan and cut would be great for the flowers
Good morning Misty, oh boy are you on my wavelength with needing to fold that background being centred, but that's because i'm a precision freak. Thank you flower for making such a cute wee quilt that is for all our tiny flowers in this world, happy sewing week. Crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil, Scotland
Thanks Misty
It's beautiful ❤️
Love This
So cute and easy! But I'll be getting my cutting machine to do those flowers :)
Muy hermosa me encanta hacer la puntada manta en Costa RICA se llama puntada feston gracias
What a really pretty quilt with so many possibilities. Thank you for another great tutorial, you do such a great job!
Lots of fun!
Super cute!
Very cute
Great tutorial Misty. Thank you 😊
Love this! 😍
This is adorable
It's such a darling quilt! Thank you, Misty! ❤
So pretty!
I like this one thanks Misty😊
Very Cute! Thank you Misty
So cute
Cute!
Love it!!
Instead of flowers, the basic background would be great to use with anything you want in the 6" squares - fussy cut fabric or embroidered squares or Chuck the duck from the template or Chucks printed onto fabric!
Such a great point, we like the way you're thinking!
You could also use hexi flowers
😊
What a bright & beautiful quilt. Is that box with the Interfacing still available? I'd love to get one.
❤❤❤
Don't throw away the rest of the 5" square. You can fuse it to another background square and make another quilt. That'll be 82 5" squares for a good sized quilt. I'm starting to see a primitive style quilt with frayed edges along the edges of the flowers. Ohhh my Lynn H is rearing her head lolol
Instead of yardage for the black and white, can you purchase black and white jelly rolls?
It wasn't specified, but I'm assuming your machine did the blanket stitch....not by hand. (I know it could be done either way) Just curious.
It's sew pretty! I'm pretty sure I got the flower template recently, I'll have to check. I love that you cut out the center too, I would've never thought of that! 😊
Can the black and white fabric be baughht in jelly rolls? Would there be enough to make that quilt thanks
So cute, do you have a police car baby quilt
Please give me a link to the white quilt on your lap in the intro 0:13. Thanks. 💖🌞🌵😷
Where did you get your cutting Matt xxx
How sewable id your fusible? I find steam-a-seam and heat and bond lite, while they say they are sewable, give me problems. Steam a seam gums up my needle and heat n bond causes me thread problems. I would like to give yours a try.
Can you order the fusible that Misty is using rolled up in the box? This would be very neat.
You can order the dispenser and fill it with your favorite fusible. You're going to love this set up it's a game changer:

Nice quilt. It would have been helpful to see a close up view of the topstitching.
Misty, what is the machine you are using? I’m in the market for a new machine. Also, can the fusible be purchased in a box like you have on the table? Thanks I’ll have to buy the flower template. I think I’ll make this for my granddaughter.
The machine Misty is using in this tutorial is a Bernette 77. Here's a link to the dispenser that you can fill with your favorite fusible.

If you can't afford the template, there are plenty of flower shapes online for free.
Wish you had free patterns
So pretty
