Arriving in Naxos by Blue Star ferry

You know that feeling when opening a present?
That's exactly the feeling I get when arriving at greek islands by Blue Star Ferry.
The hatch opens slightly, teasing you with the blue sky and sunlight of your new destination. And then, while the crew is preparing for disembarkation, the ferry rotates to show you a sparkling white town, build against the slopes.

First time we arrived in Naxos in 2014, as the gate was opening, my partner and I saw that beautiful blue sky and the Portara as the gate kept lowering... it was literally the first thing we saw and it was absolutely magical.
