- A full month of side quests and unfinished to-do's got wrapped up in this longer art vlog. As I went home for a fun visit and then again on a mission to hang a sign for my grandma's flower business. I didn't get to start any new/large personal paintings but I am more than satisfied with the the good work done and the wonderful time I had this August. I hope you enjoyed this more behind the scenes look into my life and a peek into my childhood home. For those wondering I have 5 siblings, two brothers (one is my twin) and 3 sisters. They always inspire me when we're together! :) I hope your August was full of joy and progress in whatever direction you are aiming towards.
I will be gone on the trip I mentioned for a while (if you read these descriptions you get the sneaky bonus of knowing I am going to Croatia to see my other grandma) So in that case I probably won't be able to post in two weeks like I usually try to, but I'll be back after the trip. Cheers

That hand-painted sign is amazing! We almost felt like we took a little vacation watching this- fresh peaches, skipping rocks, bike rides, and the best quote about painting we're likely to hear all week: "You take a white canvas, paint over it, and it looks cool." Well said!
😂 oh he loves painting over tape on a canvas then peeling it off. He struggled to explain it. But well said regardles! So happy you guys enjoyed the mini vacation.

This was such a lovely video to watch Maria. It was fun learning a little bit more about you and your family. I grew up on a farm and still visit my parents, grandparents and uncle who still live on the farm...and it's so hard saying goodbye to them when I have to go back home...so my heart felt for you when you were back and missed them.
I also loved how you shared the reason you like making peachpies as a tradition of your own. It made me think about what are some of my own traditions I've created in my adulthood.
I hope you have an amazing trip and get to fill many many pages in your watercolour book.
Ps. Laughed so much at the part of the video where you said...now you need to think of something else to do, because you don't know how to rest! I can absolutely relate to that!😂
It is always so hard to leave, it's a great place to be surrounded by family.
I bet you do have some lovely little traditions! Sometimes we don't even notice how they creep into our lives over time.

Farmers usually are! What a great place to have grown up. I grew up in the inner city but my grand mother grew up on a farm close to here. If I may ask, what is the origin of the name 'Sisul'? My guess is, east-European. Have a great and safe trip!
