    First off Chris Kyle is known as one of America’s greatest snipers. He was a US Navy Seal and his rifle of choice was the McMillan Tac .338 or .308. You’re one of the only guys I’ve seen make reference to him and your in the UK so the fact that you recognize him is amazing and it means a lot for you to mention that. Secondly I’ve been considering picking one of these SSG-10s up and this video along with many others just helps confirm that this is a great first rifle. Probs to Nov!!

    Really great thorough review - I like the look of the A2, but the A1 version is one I find really interesting. £270 or €299 (SSG10 A1/VSR10 clone)for a Novritsch rifle that's basically internally identical (near enough) to the other Nov rifles to me is ridiculously cheap - when you consider the cost of cheap clones and quality upgrades as you mentioned.
    On a wider Novritsch point - I'm not even an airsoft sniper, but by releasing rifles of obvious quality at such a low price point(ÂŁ270) not only is he stepping on a lot of manufacturers' feet, he is making higher level airsoft sniping more accessible(for years airsoft sniping has been difficult - rifles being temperamental/expensive etc). If it works well then great, if not, it needs to be called out. Overall for us consumers/players, it's absolutely fantastic.
    Going to watch the subsequent review next.

    SSX23 have issues that other mk23 variants doesn’t. Including the STTI, made in the same factory. For example, the SSX23 lose quit a fair amount of energy when you fire the pistol with the hammer cocked, compared with the double action shooting operation. You have problems on leaks from the contact between mag gas router and noozle too. So, if you push the SSX23 mag up on the grip, it will get more energy on the shots.

    dude you cant compare the Striker to the SSG 10. Everyone knows that the striker is cylinder undervolumed out of the box. Everyone also knows that the Striker requires a lot of work to get it working on par with a highly upgraded vsr10. I do like the ssg 10 A2, dont get me wrong. you just cant make those comparisons. And all that aside if anyone has bought a striker then chances are they have already upgraded it and not worth the $$ to go buy "another" sniper. I have a striker build that is completed, nothing else you can do to it. I go up against HPA's, Silverbacks and ssg 24's with it and it is on par in performance, yet it is simpler in design. I can strip down my striker in the field (and have) to fix minor malfunctions. It is one of the things I like about the striker. You would be hard pressed to do that with any other sniper.

    • @BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT
      @BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT  Pƙed 4 lety

      Ghostwalker Airsoft Tech I agree the AS-01 has volume issues, but the shorter AS-02 is fine for 500fps. Mine is fully upgraded with everything done, and I believe it’s one of the best bases for a sensible priced sniper rifle and in some ways more solid than the SSG 10. However, as they have similar performance from what I’ve seen so far, and as you can build a simple but effective AS-02 for £400 and the SSG-10 is £414, I would say they are completely compatible. The SSG-10 is NOT a highly upgraded VSR either. It has a few choice mods that are well done to make maximum differences but there are some parts I don’t rate, but that is for another video.
      As for being field strip-able, for me I’ve never found a need to.
      I love my AS-02, and I’m not about to get rid of it it’s so good and Easier to carry too. Thanks for comment anyway it’s interesting to hear about other people’s builds. 👍

      @@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT Mine is an As-01 that I converted to an AS-02. I previously ran an M700 or an L96. This thing is now my go to beast!! I took care of the volume issues by machining a heavy weight piston in a non-ported design. The results achieved are that this gun will do near 600 fps- although ive tuned it down quite a bit to get just at legal limits at my fields. but the result of the heavier non ported design allows for all of the air to be used more efficiently rather than blowing our the sides to inflate the oring and uses the momentum to push the piston forward harder and faster with a bigger spring.
      btw, I never said the ssg 10 was highly upgraded. The ssg 24 is just a modify 150, ssg 10 seems to be the maple leaf modular rifle in all its rights.

      I owned both the 01 and 02, as well as a VSR and T10
      Under legal limits of 454 fps these two rifles are essentially the same in terms of performance, ie there is nothing an AS02 can't touch while the VSR can.
      The AS02 imo is more rugged and more compact, also more well designed than the VSR in structure

      Marcus Hillerström yeah, they still work with FPS instead of joules. Not many sites recognise or test for joule creep. Most of our sites have a 350fps for full auto AEG’s, 420fps for single shot AEG’s (DMR) and 500fps for bolt action snipers.

It led to a new chrono table that more and more organizers start to use (in Sweden). It's really a interesting read

    • @BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT
      @BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT  Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Marcus Hillerström that’s actually a really good collection of data. The issue in the UK is when we look at the velocity and weights of BB’s a lot of Airsoft guns could technically be banned due joule creep. IMO It’s a bit of a mess to be honest. If you have a full auto Airsoft gun firing over 370fps it is classified as a section 5 firearm with a mandatory 5 year prison sentence, yet these are Imported from all over the world at 400+FPS. Most good Airsoft shops downgrade the springs, but not all of them. Fortunately most Airsofters are responsible and downgrade their guns but it’s a horrible grey area caused by poorly thought out legislation. It’s actually easier for me to own my real shotguns than Airsoft guns 😂
