My favorite Lynels to fight are in the gatehouses of the castle. The tight quarters change the fight completely.
Stasis helps me a lot when im fighting a lynel
Idk why but for some reason, I don't use stasis or any sort of foods/elixirs that give me buffs when fighting lynels. I

One time, the first time I ever beat a lynel with a crusher, I learnt about the quarterback point. Slmehow, I did not know about it before, but I fell off of the mountain and the Wii U controller disconnected and I lost the crusher. I couldn't find the lynel again.
When the lynel pulls out your bow, game over.

I think your talking about the one with the crusher there is also another one with a crusher in the hebra mountains

I don't play in Master Mode (yet). I haven't dared to try it. But the only thing that seems fun about Master Mode are the gold enimies.

I have a challenge for you that I once did. Beat a gold lynel with one fully powered master sword and nothing else. No bows, arrows, shields, champion powers, runes, clothes, food buffs, other weapons, and no damage. Feel free to reload saves.

You can get a 108 attack Savage Lynel Crusher, also in master mode there's a lizalfos with a normal lynel spear. Those things don't respawn after a couple of shrines. There are 4 forest dweller's swords total in Hyrule; they don't respawn
