It's weird cuz alot of people got this early for being unpleased from prime
I think that speaks volumes that the team behind this really wants to improve and keep evolving. It also tells me they have a lot of faith and confidence in this product.

this is definitely the best Robosen yet cause even the kibble is accurate when in robot mode AND it walks,talks and he can be posed in any way

Grimlock is redefining the phrase "Party animal" with those moves.
I also love that even robosen are catering to the "Grimlock's eyes" debate by just going "To heck with it, he has whatever eyes you want."
This thing is absolutely incredible! He looks like an upscaled Masterpiece figure in both modes AND during transformation!
This is superior to G1 Prime in so many ways. Also more creative, too!

Please Start doing more Reviews Outside, it's so much more pleasing on the eyes and better aesthetically than that blinding plain white backdrop your usually use.
Good gravy! I had no idea this was even being made and it looks incredible! Optimus Prime was amazing but his transformation was a little basic, Grimlock's here is so much more intricate. I hope Robosen makes more transforming versions of characters like Bumbleebee, Megatron, Jazz, Starscream and Soundwave. Can you imagine a triple changer like Blitzwing with three modes! How about some non-transformer characters like a walking Terminator endoskelton or Ironman, so many possibilities.

This is incredibly impressive. The balance, consistency, and movement overall is a major accomplishment in the world of transformers toys.
The transformation is very G1 accurate. The sliding down of the back _rather than_ the sliding up of the tummy is a good alternative to the original method that keeps that classic feel.
Just think, one day Robosen just start making triple changers then combiners that will be so awesome ( probably many years from today )

It's very hard to hear the sounds coming from Grimlock in this video. But it does look like a fantastic item. Unfortunately the $1500 price tag makes it incredibly prohibitive. I get that it commands that price tag for the engineering an materials put in to it. As amazing as it is, I can't justify spending $1500 on it.
I own the Flagship Collectors edition Optimus Prime and this guy looks amazing! Grimlock was always my favorite Transformer as a kid. Sadly, I will not be purchasing him through, the $1500 USD price tag is just too much for me to pull the trigger on. Great review and possibly the most amazing Transformer ever made right there.

Unrelated, but Robosen should make figures based on Small Soldiers, with the amount of servos they pack, they would be perfect for the commando elite

This is honestly the best robosen figure I have seen, plus the transformation from robot to dinosaur kinda reminds me of the aoe grimlock transformation
This grimlock reminds me of the 86 grimlock from studio series with not only the looks but the trasformito as well

Oh my gosh, Robosen G1 Grimlock is so cool! Yes, our first auto-converting G1 Grimlock, so fantastic! Grimlock was another my most favorite Transformers character because i am biggest fan of Dinosaur. So many things that we can do on this guy, so amazing! The sculpt so fantastic and the movement also fantastic, super well done the automatic figure 🤩! IF i have Robosen G1 Grimlock, i made him as my friend, i can do customized everything on this guy, so fantastic. Yes Grimlock, you are truly the king. Super awesome video, PrimevsPrime 😊. It's crazy how toys are doing now. Sure the price says all but that shows how much effort they put in the craft.
