Really appreciate any of the content you manage to put out. We're very fortunate to have an elite athlete willing to share so much of their training and philosophy. Even implementing half the things you talk about makes a colossal difference for the average runner. Hope the rest of your training camp goes well, sounds like things are in a great place!

CZcams / social media / influencer stuff will always be here, and you'll likely always have a future in it. It's totally fine to put it on the backburner and get the most out of your peak fitness while you have it. The fact that you can even keep us updated at all is really awesome. Good luck with the rest of your training and race!
Maximum focus=Maximum results. We all understand the ultimate goal is your performance; we're here for the ride. Keep going🏅🏅
Crazy the difference a few strong weeks can make. Well done Stephen
Your hard work and transparency are inspiring. Glad you are making progress, keep it up!
I’ll be doing Dublin myself. Grew up 200m from the finish line. It’ll be glorious. Delighted you’re running. Good luck
Best of luck in Dublin, running it myself, make sure you hang around after to cheer us 3:30 marathon runners in! 😂
Love how humble you are! Great to hear your thoughts from inside camp
Training sessions in which you are not totally comfortable are the ones that push you forward.
"Keep showing up ... Keep trying ..." - thanks for these videos!
Basketball hall of famer and legend Pistol Pete Maravich became such an amazing ball handler because his father never let him practice on a smooth hard surface.
Pretty similar i think.
Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely watch your race in Dublin. I am reading a book by A. Hutchinson - Endurance. So I hope you will be ready as much as possible both physically and mentally
LFG Scully, the mindset is electric and infectious!! So much fun listening and watching your training, the insight is unreal!
This is such excellent content - it applies to so many worthwhile goals in life. Thank you, Stephen. Go get it, Kid
Good luck Stephen at Dublin…inspiring words and seeing you working so hard. You got this!
Im sure the increased volume will really help, 😊 youre doing awesome. Cant wait til you run a 2:08 in the coming mths/yr/s.
I love your beginning comments on transparency. You have a really good head on your shoulders. Inspiring.
Damn, good to be able to watch you grow!
Scullys channel is great but i encourage everyone to get his masterclass and marathon training plan, they have both done wonders for my running. Im very confident going into the victoria bc marathon this sunday:) thanks scully!
Hope you crush it and thanks
You forgot to mention Stephen that now you are running in the sun virtually every day, I reckon that has played a role in helping you feel strong, happy and positive. Good luck.
I’d say so, any excuse get that shirt off ha
Just great advice in your content. Thanks so much for sharing.
Good to see you in good spirits Stephen. Keep it up!
Looking forward to see how the race goes. Good to see you’re 100% committed again.
Sometimes we need a kick up the a**e. Happy training bud hope all is well for Dublin 👏
Just love following your work and look forward to seeing more . Good luck for Dublin, I loved the one time I ran there.
Thanks Stephen, for uploading these awesome videos so even rookie runners like me might learn something, cheers 🌲👏👊🏼🍉🌴😀
ur such a legend scully, good fucking luck on the dublin marathon. im going to be sitting at home cheering for you!
Thanks for putting the vid together! Also for your respect shown to fellow athletes, as its getting rarer to see that in people. As I still have a 35K @ 5x5K race pace repeat to go this weekend after a 3/4 marathon race just done...your comment on just showing up even on the hard days to get the results even if it doesn't go perfect really resonated...I am behind on my plan due to a calf injury early in the block but have done exactly what you said about excuses...stop using them as a crutch to not work hard anyway. Hoping to get sub 4 in Dublin and will be looking out for you in the top 3! Get after it!
Great to see you back in this positive mindset Stephen. Smash that Dublin marathon mate! 💪
You are amazing! Best of luck qualifying. Do it !!
Dude, you are an inspiration... I know lots of people say it, but I hope you hear it... you ARE! 👍👍
Glad to see how things change for you in a matter of a month ❣️
This video was very uplifting. I’m happy to hear that your thought process is currently in such a great place. Onward and upward my friend!
Good luck in Dublin, you have got this. We will be at the roadside shouting you on. 👍
Thankyou so much for this video. I can only run 5k a.t.m. due to it pain or similar. In rehab and your videos are such an encouragement to keep doing the gym work and not get disheartened. Thanks again. Hope you smash it in Dublin
Want ta say He's Back!!! Great stuff.keep it up.

Great video
You'll smash Dublin:)
Hi Stephen, thank you for your videos. I found them really helpful and interesting.
I wanted to ask if running with a camera affect your form or creates any imbalance?
Which UA model are those black shoes? Fancy trying something different.
I appreciate your channel. Great content. Sending you good vibes in return.
When is your next marathon ? ? ?
I don't see your name on the list for Chicago.
42 year old. Been exercising for three months. I define zone 1 as pre 2.0, zone 2 2.0+ lactate, zone 3 4.0+ lactate. I can can do 90 just at zone 2. Where do I need to be to gain speed for a 60 minute run? Currently just cycle at 40-60% FTP. Any help appreciated.
120 Miles a week is approximately 17 miles a day.... wow my friend who is a World Champion only runs half Marathons every day (526 days on the trot so far)..... Olympians really have to up it a bit (is an under statement)
Thank you verymuch.
👍🙏💪✌️🏃🌹♥️♥️♥️🌷🌠💫🌌😘
Kicking it
How long do the positive benefits from altitude training last back at sea level?
my heart rate zone 2 is very slow walking and jogging. I can do it for hours. should I?
Random one but I’m 19 and my easy HR is supposed to be around 144 however even tho it feels easy I’m most of the time nearer 155 is this a problem or not😅
It is a problem, you’re gaining no more benefits but you’re pushing yourself more. Relax and be slower. You can introduce fast workouts later, trust me, that HR will go down. I went from 110-120 to 80s while walking after only 2 months of running.
It depends heart rate will drift towards to end of runs which isn't necessarily a bad thing. My advice is that you run your easy runs like you were in the peak training week of a marathon block and shit tired. That's the pace you want to do because it will allow you to build fitness in the better hard sessions and will help push to doing more mileage without feeling more tired and risking an injury. Those two are the true things which will make you fitter.
@@klapaucius515 so when u run now its as easy as walking?
@@user-lf9xo4iz5x no but my easy runs’ pace is quicker at the same heart rate.
you sound tired. focus up think about the ultimate
