Interesting analysis there, Yazik. :) Bobby Velasco is not in the video but I think that Daryl wanted to acknowledge him as the musical arranger so his name was included in the title. Daryl, for sure, did the vocal arrangement for this since he produced this. Daryl mentioned in some interview that he really prefers singing RnB songs (but there are Filipinos who still don't appreciate/understand this genre, I observed) but he does pop songs too for the mainstream audience.
Speaking of Brian McKnight, Daryl has been recording a Brian McKnight medley so that's in the works. He may have not met/collab'd with Brian yet but he just recently collab'd with Jim Brickman - *'BEAUTIFUL AS YOU'* during this quarantine period. PLs react to this. On Daryl Ong Official.

Yes bro actually we have alot of local talents here in the country but few are given the chance to be known.
Everytime we have a celebration or festivals like fiestas, alot of place in the country have thier own local version of singing contest and you will be amazed of the volume of talented and gifted contestant joining the compitition.
We have professional singers but we also have professional amateur singers all over the Philippines and man most of them are as good as the professional singer that we have.
Watching a local (small or big time) singing compitition anywhere in the Philippines is like watching a concert.
Hope you could visit our country one say and have the chance to watch a concert of our pro. Singers and also watch a local singing compitition as well

Maybe per usual, Daryl did the vocal arrangement but Bobby Velasco did the musical arrangement of this, which is what I think you refer to (as credited by Daryl in the vid). That can't be him in the vid, he's a grey haired gent oozing musical mastery and experience. He has some signature groovy and old school jazz jams on CZcams that you can definitely hear on this track.

Me being from the Philippines, am so proud for our performers, We have so many great talents here but just to inform you most talents that you featured in your reaction are mostly from one of the giant network here. Unfortunately, due to some political issues their franchise wasn't renewed. It just so sad for us fans that we no longer see them perform live and singing sitting down just like they often did on a Wish bus. Your reactions have a great impact on us because its not only did we gain knowledge with regards to runs, breathing and all, but it kinda gives us a boost of morale knowing how you guys appreciate their talents. By the way, I think its still premature to say that Katrina is under rated, because she's just new in the industry. She's even on her way for self improvement, being in this kind of industry your not only supposed to have good voice quality but looks as well. To be able to get market (most local viewers would still go after facial value before talents, sad to say that is how it goes here.) I guess, the mere fact that they continue to produce music videos means that people still appreciate them. FYI, the network usually have different annual concerts here and abroad for their talents but due to COVID pandemic and the recent blow in their network, It stopped their lives momentarily, it just now that they begin to pick up again (credits to social media) but no longer together since other good performer needs to transfer to other network, which is bad because they have to adjust to their new team. The dissolved network I must say have such a good technical team, vocal coaches, and musical arrangers (some performances and collaborations that was sung live was recorded from their live performances on ASAP stage). They even have their own live bands. This is where most of these great talents were groomed. Am I talking too much? I hope I made sense. Good luck to you Yazik and more power. Please do more reviews on Filipino talents.
