    For statistical data several websites were used:
    1. Encyclopaedia Metallum (www.metal-archives.com/): Also known as Metal Archives, it is one of the most popular and extensive databases for metal music. It provides information on bands, albums, lyrics, discographies, and reviews.
    2. Rate Your Music (rateyourmusic.com/): While not exclusively focused on metal, Rate Your Music is a user-driven music database that covers various genres, including metal. It allows users to rate and review albums, create lists, and discover new music.
    3.Spirit of Metal (www.spirit-of-metal.com/): Spirit of Metal is another website dedicated to cataloging metal bands and their discographies. It offers information on different subgenres, band biographies, album reviews, and a community forum..
    4. Metal Storm (www.metalstorm.net/): Metal Storm provides news, album reviews, and an extensive database of metal bands. It covers a wide range of metal subgenres and offers a user-friendly interface for exploring bands and their releases.

    Gibraltar has 35,000 inhabitants. The small countries distort it. I would make a cut below the Scandinavian. They're the first to make an impact on the scene. Alternatively, you can combine it with sales figures or call up streaming

      Liechtenstein with less than 40 000 is on the fourth place. These numbers simply don't make any sense. You know, great metal scene of Monaco...

      its per one million people if a small city state or a small country with not even a million people has just 1 metal band, that of course makes the whoel statistic screwed.

    Ironic how these numbers could also reflect "most secular" and "most open minded" countries, where as Finland is also considered the happiest country in the world, coincidence? I think not! (google "happiest countries in the world" if you don't believe it)
