i grew up at the Teutoburg Forest and when i was a kid my uncle used to tell me stories about the Cherusci who used to live here in the northwestern region part of Germany and every time I listen to the Runaljod studio edition and he starts yelling in this deep intimidating voice, it sends cold shivers down my spine creating images in my head of my germanic forefathers yelling down the valley at roman legions letting them know they won't get to leave this place alive if they choose to stay
Love this group. Their music is real and authentic. Viking blood runs in my veins. But who cares the music rocks and we are all amazing humans anyway 💜

I love watching musicians when it is obvious that they love what they're doing. And she sure appears to fit in that category! Adds a lot to the show, to know the musicians stand by their work.

Our beliefs have never been so wide spread and colourful, and thanks to technology we can listen to songs we wouldn't have heared back in the old days. No Wardruna would have sat at the fireplace in our small, cold huts, just for us to listen to. It's a great time to be alive and Heathen. :)

This is how i want to see Wardruna .Saw them in Glasgow at Royal Concert Hall and it was amazing but had a very posh atmosphere for me .i wanted to dance trance to what is deep music for me but was instead sitting with a lot of posh folk politely clapping .felt weird .
They're real life Scandinavians. Not Vikings. You don't see them robbing, raping or killing anyone, do you? Vikings were part-time raiders of Scandinavian descent. And not all Scandinavians were Vikings, the majority were not, and for the ones that were, were regular people.
