This is so cute and i love your commentary. Ive been trying to figure out what it is about junk journaling that i love, from the aesthetics to the actual journaling, and its totally about what you said... childhood nostalgia. And freedom of creativity. Colours were brighter and new and interesting, art was whatever you wanted however you wanted to do it and you could fall into images as if they were another world. Thats why i love junk journaling. Thanks for this video, it's really great and thorough. Probably one of the best JJ tutorials ive seen!! Love!❤

You have some great ideas and I really wanted to finish watching your video, but could not. I don't know if it was because you were working so close up to the camera or the speed of the movements but I found myself getting almost dizzy. That’s what I love about junk journals…if it works for you that is all that matters and people buy them
Tyvek is that plastic they put around the house before the siding goes on. It's a vapor barrier to keep the moisture out of the house. So yeah, that tape properly heavy duty cause it needs to be weather proof.

Beautiful and eclectic! Love it! Enjoyed the walk-thru and style you share. I'm learning that I lean towards more of an eclectic style these days. I've always been a little bit of a rebel and gone against the grain so it just makes sense to go with what you love and what stirs your soul. I'm actually making a large junk journal to give my younger daughter for my very first grand baby (a little boy) and I've had some starts and stops but hope to get it finished up this month. Trying to toss the perfectionism out and just enjoy the process. It's been a little bit of a challenge as I've used the large Farm Animals little golden book. So the pages are almost the size of normal 8.5x11 sheets. Fun, fun!!
