Great explanation. To be a good project managed, it's important to understand the different methodologies.
Yes, exactly. Glad you find it helpful, Vagafu.
Well said, Dmitriy. It's indeed comparing apple with oranges.
No approach is better than the other, it's about determining which of the two best suits the peculiarity of a project.
Yes, so true. Hopefully more people will understand it...
Like and respect for this knowledge sharing!
Thank you, Vitalii!
Wheter waterful or Agile, this is not a question. It really depends on the variability of the requirements and restrictions on timeline and budget.
How do timeline and budget restrictions impact the selection of a framework?
@@ITProjectManagers When scope is fixed, then schedule is estimated and budget is developed accordngly. Usually this kind of project can be managed by waterfall framework and then schedule performance and cost performance are being measured during the execution to ensure project is delivered on time and on budget. However, Agile focuses on value delivery and take SAFe as one example, we focus on value stream delivery, we always ensure we deliver the most viable product or feature to the market on regular cadence, then based on the feedback from market, we plan subsequent PIs and fund it, it is continuous delivery. I am not sure whether my understanding is correct or not. Thank you! and I really like your viedos.
Hi Dimitriy, thanks for the video.
Can you use them both? For example, when a project requires heavy backend work, I would break down deliverables into sprints for only the development process and go with waterfall for the rest of it (content, creative, design processes).
Yes you can, Selin. It’s the Agile Project Management. Check out this video to learn more about it: czcams.com/video/jXrmTVWr4MU/video.html
