Classy!! His piping is second to none. He is a legend. Go SFU!!! I love his band but one day when am pipe major of Shotts or the Power I'm a comin for you!!!
@BREAKDUBBER you are so right. people keep thinking the bagpipe is essentially a scottish instrument but it is played in so many places in the world including Spain (Galicia), The Middle East (Iran, Iraq, Yemen), France (Bretagne). A heart and love for music has no nationality.
Well damned, I'm giving up the pipes! Even after my many years of playing, it would be a cold day in hell before I could ever play like that, if I were tutored by the McCrimmons from beyond the grave no less!
Sounds like the strains of the pipes from up on the battlements.Doesn't this guy do anything else. If he did, he'd probalby be just as good at that, too! sweet.
Beautiful performance, simply beautiful! Great tunes but more important - great piper!
in one word; INCREDIBLE!
the man is talented
It takes YEARS of practice, practice, practice to get this good. Fastest fingers in the West!
Colin, the last tune before Bonnie Dundee is "The Ballachulish Walkabout" composed by the late John D. Burgess.
