BRK Tope Recon Comparison and why it's one of the best fixed blades for me!

The Bark River Knives - Bravo Tope Recon.
It kicks butt. Even if I just end up carrying it on a hike and never unsheath it, I know its a capable tool for my survival.
I have 3 Bark River Knives that are the same because I enjoy using this model that much. Its always good to have a backup ready to go just like shoes, shorts and jackets!

I have one as well, I love it (blue demin scales and toxic green liners). I'd say its a do everything field knife. Not the best chopper not the best bushcrafter but it can do it all.

Hey buddy, perhaps the steeper ground version may be more robust.
These are stunning designs, I own 2 and have used one. The one I use is grounded fairly thin, and I have beaten it through a knot or two (in normal use), and the edge has remained stable. I would rather it was thinnish for better performance as I use a camp axe for serious splitting and chopping.

Oh Awesome!! I get what you are saying but those were my results. The red liner tope has been through similar tasks you your and then some and has bot failed. The thicker grinded one works exactly the same though.

@@micktheweld yes but. i’m pretty sure the white knife got messed up at the factory in one spot because the blade is bent. Therefore. because it’s not straight I will be sending it back to Bark River for warranty. They other two are dead straight.
