@ldreyees the left/right arrow keys on will let you scroll through the LCD menu where you'll find an area that will allow you to print the network configuration page.
I just got this today pretty much for the scanner and fax. It didn't have an either net cable or USB cable. Luckily I had extras laying around. The paper did jam a couple times until I realized I shouldn't put too much paper in the feeder. The tag at the store said it was wireless, but I guess that was for a different model just like this? I don't know how to acquire a fax number. Overall, it's a pretty nice printer. A step up from my $200 Cannon printer I will be selling.
I did everything and it seems to be working properly. Except the black cartridge isn’t working. Funny thing is the tri color is working fine. Don’t know what’s going on.
@TheLulilulu I use mine on the Mac all the time. I'm running Snow Leopard. Maybe you need to set everything back to the factory defaults? I'm wondering if you have an IP address issue from when your mum set it up? Did you try installing it just by adding it through the Mac Bonjour sharing or did you download and use the HP drivers? Maybe try doing it through the HP drivers if you haven't done that already. Good luck.
@TheLulilulu What's not working and what;'s your computer OS? You may need to run an anti spyware program to clean up any junk on your PC that may be conflicting.
If you're trying to find it and it's hooked into your modem, I don't think you'll have luck. You need to plug it into your router (unless you're calling your router a "modem"). Try unplugging your router for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in, then running the install. Also reboot your computer before installing. You may have to call tech support if this doesn't help.
The outside of the printer I just bought is the same and all, same name but the inside cartridges aren't the same as the one you showed. Not sure where to put the ink now...
@dawdus Yes this PRINTER SET UP MAKES ME CRAZY. i let it install all night and it did not work. it keeps installing and uninstalling itself. there is always an error. maybe because i have 32 bit vista? maybe bc my windows updates (??) arent installing properly. i don't know. but the epson print/ scan / copy we have it sooo easy to install. takes 2 seconds. this is a joke, and i'm thinking of returning it. what to do ????
@OMGWHYISNTMYUSERWORK Not sure why it's giving you this issue. Was the printer brand new? If not, there is a way to set it back to the default settings if you had it installed elsewhere. Also you may want to try running an antispyware program such as Spybot S&D (it's free), then reboot and try it again.
@coketherealthing I test lots of printers. After testing it, I gave this 1 to my girlfriend when I finished because it was one of the better ones I tested. I can't tell u you'll never have issues with it but she jams my personal older HP printer just by looking at it & so far in 6 months, she hasn't had any issues w/her 4500 other than it occasionally isn't available because her kids snagged the ethernet cable for their XBox. For $50, u got a great deal on a pretty sweet printer.
My printer is all setup and the driver is installed. When I try to print the document show in the print queue but doesn't print. I have the Ethernet and usb cables in but my printer is not receiving the print command from my pc. Any ideas?
Reboot the printer and your router? If you have both the Ethernet and the USB cable plugged in, try disconnecting one of them. Perhaps you've created a conflict. Also, maybe the device needs a firmware update.

This printer is wireless but you have to connect it to a Ethernet cable connected to your cable modem. Once the soft ware is installed on your laptop or wifi computer you can print wirelessly from any computer but the printer has to stay plugged into your cable box
this printer is being really good to me but I decided to go with a Chromebook because my window computer every year get really slow I've been using my Chromebook for 2 years still work perfect but I haven't been able to scan anything from that printer to my Chromebook or my Google Drive if everybody have any idea I will appreciate it ty
@emogiril2468 Hi. Try downloading and installing the full package from the HP.com website. It should install other utilities including the one for scanning. You can find the drivers on HP's website. It won't let me post it here...
HP has an app that will work with the printer. I don't know if this printer supports AirPrint. If it does and it's on your wifi your iPhone will just find it.
This was awful, there may have been good information in it, however, most of the time the music was so much louder than the person speaking, that you couldn't understand what he was saying... hey Andy, if you're listening, take the music out or turn it way, way down! This is useless otherwise.

@dawdus I like HP printers quite a bit but the length of the install, especially for an inkjet printer is painful. So very painful.
