I believe Dr. White was on the apologia radio about 4 years ago and did a similar study but specifically on KJV. Very interesting to know this history.

I love apologia church, thanks so much for your teachings. Dr. James White has had the most influence on my Christian life than anyone. I love how Pastor Jeff Durbin and y'all stand outside planned parenthood and preach and saves babies, God bless all of you.

@jeremiah 3:23 israel Thoughs topics hold no relevance because they are the basis of critical division as the ones I mentioned which would bring us closerif we can make progress. Even among all groups today the interpreation of keeping the law varies among all camps and groups.. The topics I mentioned pertain dogmatic identification of a true believer and they decisely and clearly distinguish whether one is following the one true most high God, or a false/incomplete god...???

And their sins and inquiries I will remember no more." John 3:3 "You must be Born Again to enter the kingdom of Heaven." Jesus said that. Maybe you don't believe?

I can’t even begin to describe how the ministry of Mr. Durbin and Dr. White have shaped me in the last 2-3 years. Apologia church has been blessed with two church giants that will go down in church history. Soli Deo Gloria and, please, continue to stand up for the true gospel of Jesus Christ as the world becomes increasingly hostile and bitter. Peace and Grace in our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

One thing I noticed in your ending prayer.. of taking the Gospel out to those who would push back and confront the history of the Bible.. are you not praying against Gods decree for those people to push back, according to your view on God sovereignly decreeing every single detail of life?

@@marteld2108 We have discovered literally thousands of manuscripts since Augustine. How would reading him help with those various manuscripts and their lines of transmission?
Just study the KJV, please be careful and ask God to guide you. Do not read the KJV controversy, James white is an insane liar and seriously in error. The KJV is the only perfect Bible, pray to God everyone, he will show you the truth. I used to be like James White, please do not believe the lies. God bless you all.

I don't understand how Protestant men of Scripture can adopt Catholicism's revisions of original Scripture: God (H430),
GOD (H3055, H3069),
LORD (H3068),
and Jesus (G2424)
and still consider themselves proclaimers of the true Scriptures.

Its funny how these reformed Calvinists believe that God preserved his word and believe most modern translations are Gods word. The king james is they pure infallible, perfect word of GOD and all others are counterfits.

@@voiceofmanywaters3720 The modern critical text variant "monogenes theos" in John 1:18 is theologically incoherent if we are going to advocate for the trinitarian classical theism. It is the Son that is begotten (as the TR indicates). He didn't even attempt to address this. Further, he is misreading the tradition by thinking that this new form of textual criticism would have been accepted by the men of old. Dr. White is borrowing from the confession yet advocating a position that is foreign to the confession. Lastly, its not surprising that the manuscripts which contain "monogenes theos" originate geographically from regions whose churches had major issues in their Christology and Doctrine of God, namely the coptic and syriac churches....
