I also am an exhcange student. I'm from the northeast side of India and there we don't speak any hindi or marathi it's like a whole new place there so my father got a new job and we had to move to Mumbai, it's super hard here because they have the languages hindi and marathi and I don't know anything about it and since I'm a christian and all the other students here are all muslim, hindu etc. I'm seen as different and the teachers of marathi and hindi treat me different.

I really want to do an exchange year and I might sound dumb asking this question but do I have to go somewhere that speaks a diffrent language like my first language is English can I go to some country that many speaks English or would j have to go somewhere that speaks like Spanish or smt?
An exchange student may go to anywhere, just out of country. You can definitely do exchange from America to the UK if that’s what you’d like. 👍
