Iowa WBB season ticket holder here. Congratulations Kate. You were a joy to watch at Iowa, now will have to make a few road trips. Kudos to Megan Guftason as well. I grew up in Wisconsin and Megan was special also.

I’m an LSU fan, NCAAW basketball fan and WNBA fan. I feel so excited for this class. Kate Martin, is a favorite of mine and so happy for her. Angel Reese is my girl but all the women playing basketball have brought so much joy to me. Congrats Kate. Go get em. I’m a big Aces fan too.
This is such a great story. She wasn't invited, but went to the draft to hang out with her best friend Caitlin Clark. But not only did she wind up getting drafted, but earned a roster spot on defending champion Aces. I was really hoping the fever with pick her with their second pick, not because she was CC's teammate in Iowa, but because she's a great baller. PERIOD.
On May 25th 2024,the Aces play the Fever! Caitlin and Kate are best friends.

From never watching a WNBA game now I have to juggle 3 teams fever aces storm. It’s fantastic that I don’t have to wait long. awesome! I love following all the Hawkeye players (men and women) who make it to the pro ranks in their sports. I really don't have favorite pro teams, I just root for the team that has a hawkeye on their roster, or in some situations, whichever team has the most hawkeyes on the roster. Because of Kate and Caitlin I subscribed to the WNBA League Pass to be able to better follow these two awesome Hawkeye B ballers.
