- In this video we'll look at how to setup and use dupeGuru on your Docker server.
This video assumes that you have Docker and Portainer setup on your server already.
This image is NOT compatible with ARM processors.
dupeGuru is a tool to find duplicate files on your computer. It can scan either filenames or contents. The filename scan features a fuzzy matching algorithm that can find duplicate filenames even when they are not exactly the same.
dupeGuru is efficient. Find your duplicate files in minutes, thanks to its quick fuzzy matching algorithm. dupeGuru not only finds filenames that are the same, but it also finds similar filenames.

I love that you showed the application before showing how to install it. Thanks!
Thanks. I think my videos going forward will be this format :)
Loving the content. Not sure if this has been requested before, but it would be awesome to see a video on hosting a Terraria server with mods in Docker. After watching your Valheim video I started thinking about other great games that could be hosted in Docker.
Thanks for the idea!
Thanks for this video! My dumb ass didn't see the plus icon in the bottom left (1:17).
Thanks for this video, really useful app to check the duplicates files for instance on backup server or any other kind of resources.
Thank you so much! Was trying to figure out how to get this working and this video helped a lot!
Great to hear!
Thanks for the demo and info, have a great day
Thanks, you too!
Thanks!
I dropped a like 👍 Mac users? Would you have an idea why it says it deleted the duplicates but they remain where they were? And I reran the dupescan and then it said no duplicates?! I made sure it’s got disc access and accessibility, it’s on the list. I dunno, I tried moving the files instead and it did move them but it left the original duplicates where they were…. So now I have more duplicates actually…. I dunno what else to try…. I sent them to move to a new folder on the same drive so it’s not like a copy or move issue to the new drive… any ideas?
