A beautiful wedding video. God bless the couple n their dear ones. But the editor has not highlighted any Kashmiri element in it. It's like any other Indian wedding. The bride's headgear had been hidden , the Dejhor of the guests could hv been highlighted. It was more of dance n no particular ritual. Bride looked so beautiful especially with her well chosen outfits, I wish the video had some Kashmiri flavour in it.

Namaskar mahra, thank you for your comment. Both the bride and groom are Kashmiri and very involved with their culture despite both being raised in Australia. This highlight does not include the mekhal, tarag ceremony etc but that doesn't mean that those things didn't happen. Both families being 100% Kashmiri in today's date might be Kashmiri flavour enough.

@@RK-uk5ws God bless our community. I have a dream that we should be able to establish our community with the same respect as we used to hv when we were landlords n courtiers. But for my generation it's difficult so I am very keen that our younger generation should be culturally equipped enough to be able to do that. Otherwise with the domicile certificates to others our already small community will be lost. I see the same happening in Maharashtra.
Bombay is taken over by Gujjus, Marwadis, Punjabis etc but the actual Marathis hv become a kind of secondary lot.
Anyway , I made it a long post only because I know I am writing to someone of our own. Thank you for your reply.

I am from Jammu and have lived in Kashmir Valley. A nice wedding of Kashmiri Pandits but sadly nott too much Kashmiri culture, etc. India is a diverse nation thus colorful. Thus must stray that way. In Dogra marriages we have returned our traditions. Agreed many non-Kashmiris are in this party yet the soul should have been kept Kashmiri.
