Tim Is definitely that guy in the friend group that's always a liability but is the nicest out of everyone 😂
Facing the wall was the go to punishment for me😭😭
Hated it
5th ammendment is American ting so thats why man was lost for words 😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂
Being the eldest child, especially if you’re a girl, in an african household is NOT FOR THE WEAK HEARTED 😭😭
I’ve heard 😫
Love the animation, but I’m lowkey loving this live version more. Glad you guys are treatin us with this, it always Has me in stitches!
Glad you enjoy it!
I hear the chat of “our parents used to beat us because that’s all they knew”, but there are other ways to discipline a child. I think sometimes they blur the lines of discipline and abuse🤷🏿♀️
For sure!
Drunk on Gee-Ness😂
Too funny
This was such a good conversation but I think once you guys have kids the perspective will change. I was on the tube the other day and these kids in a school uniform were talking about if you have sex and the woman is on top she can’t get pregnant.
If children can’t have open and honest conversations with their parents they are opening themselves up to vulnerability and being miseducated by outsiders.
Respect is more important than being fearful. You guys all said you got beaten but you were still getting up to mischief because the reward was better than the punishment. So clearly beating doesn’t work loool.
So so true!!
The way this episode had me laughing 😂. The pros and cons of growing up laughing is something I can relate to a bit too much 😂
😂😂
Oii ya see that Whose Line Is It Anyway segment... i was in bits😂😂😂😂😂 another great ep fellas
Too funny 😂😂 Love bro!!
you guys never dissapoint every time
🙏🏿🙏🏿
Although seeing the animations is great to visualise the story I like seeing your faces more to fully appreciate and understand your emotions and facial expressions in detail, there's more of a connection. I am really happy with this style of content too!
Thank you! Animations are still our thing. Coming soon
Not going to lie, speaking as someone who has lost their mom, who always prayed for them in similar voice messages, the part when they played the Mom's voice message hit me in a hard and different way.
In this world, to have someone like that, who whether they agree with you or disagree with you, always has your back through thick and thin, for better or worse, and never stops praying for your well being and upliftment,... that makes a big difference. Sending my prayers and blessing out to your Mom. May her words reach the ears of the divine and may she see her prayers for you manifest in the land of the living.
Keep up the great show guys. It's blessed.
Love this! Mums are a blessing 🙏🏿
In which way did you mean “fear”? There’s “fear” as in respect, or there’s “fear” as in being afraid. I feel like our parents meant for the beating to instill respect for the parents into the child, but mostly of the time it translates to being afraid of the parent, sometimes leading to resentment.
There’s a fine line!!
Not me taking notes how I’m gonna do my kids😂😅 they will be like Gestapo Mama like me🥹
😂
LMFAOOOOO first 30secs alone has me cryingggg
😂😂
The who’s line is it anyway section actually finished me. It made me buy a ticket to the live show even though I have no one to come with 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I agree with manny man my child needs to fear me enough to not ask me or my (beautiful nigerian or Ghanaian) wife about if I got pregnant you should already know the answer, that’s foolish save your questions for good ones about.
Loool fair enough
Am here for the mum pod..😊
Haha same!!
🇸🇱🦁💪💚🤍💙 Growing Up In An African Household Is Serious Character Building❕❗💪🙏😩😅😂🤣

When parents are beating their child are they satisfying they own vex or are they helping you? It’s like the story of the slaves daughter who was caught by her dad running away he beat her so bad and she still ran away and got them freedom as she reported it and this was in America after it had come illegal. So her dad beat her like a slave master yet the master never did. This is why we haven’t grown mentally as black people as we pull each other down from asking questions and growing!
Our children should be able to ask questions and we should ask them questions not give them fear but learn and if each child understands why they usually won’t do wrong thing. Let’s empower and do better than our parents. Allow them to take risk and create safe places for them to figure it out who they are ….as you don’t want your children to take long to develop and never reach their full potential.
