- Here you will see another one of my ambulance response compilations from the bustling city of Saigon (officially known as Ho Chi Minh City). Emergency vehicles really don't have it easy in Vietnam, with unbelievably dense and chaotic traffic in the way at all times, and motorists who generally do not give way to emergency vehicles. This video shows a variety of ambulances from various agencies, charities, clinics, and hospitals.

Ah yes,the good old days before everything goes insane.
At last everything quiet back to normal now,expect we were the mask and more ambulance than before.
With the abundance of motorbikes, ambulances will be busy.
Vietnam traffic is Really chaotic than Philippines traffic.. lol

Yep, traffic would definitely start moving if these ambulances had either Federal Signal Q or Whelen mechanical sirens, those seem to do the trick quite nicely for moving traffic out of the way here in the US!
@@noahater5785 I think that may just lead people to stop and stare (like where is that weird noise coming from?!) instead of realizing that they should move. On a serious note, the biggest factor is a lack of driver education, not the sound or volume of the sirens.

The sirens are often drowned out by the rest of the traffic noise. The thousands of motorbikes are incredibly loud, plus all the honking. In some cases the siren volume is lowered by the driver of the ambulance or the siren may be poor quality.
I'm from Vietnam and i can say that these sirens are truly quite low in volume. Most of these ambulances only have low quality Chinese made lights and sirens installed, partly because of tight budgets and partly because of the unavailability of decent siren parts. This video is couple years old though, Vietnam hospitals now own quite a fleet of newer ambulances with much better lights and sirens as prepration for the pandemic.

Yep, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam should technically be considered the new traffic jam capital of the world, considering that title has already been held by Moscow in Russia for who knows how long

Wow their siresn seem to be really quiet I wonder why.
Mostly because the city noise is so loud (the thousands of motorbikes and constant comm honking is incredibly loud). Some of the sirens are also low quality.

Probably because the sirens are too quiet because Vietnam apparently can’t seem to obtain decent quality sirens exported from elsewhere in the world?

Thanks man! Yea that seems to be the ongoing debate here, and I’m not sure if more noise will actually do the trick (I think airhorns or rumbler would just confuse people and make them stare, not move). But I think a good e-horn would be beneficial actually. Those who honk the most seem to get the right of way in Vietnam 😁

Is it just me, or do other people also find it weird when the siren tone doesn't match up with the lights flash pattern. Like the ones once that do a quick flash and wait 30 seconds do a quick flash and repeat (making it look like the lights arent even on) but the siren is blaring code 3 full emergency response
I’m not sure where you’re seeing lights that only flash every 30 seconds? 🤔 If you’re talking about is the older strobe lights, they flash all the time, but cameras cannot pick up all flashes due to the light frequency.
@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses they have the same ones here in Italy on the older police cars and they really do only strobe about once every 30 seconds while the patrol car is blaring its sirens. They mostly got rid of them but there is still a couple out and about in the smaller cities
