Apparently, the Zombies have spent a total of over 7 Mill creating their tree-shaded, dark compound up in the hills. We’ll see where Rob currently calls home, where he used to live, and his “horror” basement. We even found some of the listings. This is the home that once upon a time, Rob showed off on MTV Cribs. According to that - the house spanned 7000 square feet with 2 beds and 5 baths. More recent information about the house says it actually has 6 bedrooms instead of 2. So I guess MTV lied to us all. Zombie bought the home back in 1999 for 1.7 million and lived there for many years while owning a second home in Connecticut. He didn’t put the Hancock Park house on the market until 2014. The half Tudor half Timber home was built in 1924 and sat on a half acre lot, sheltered by plenty of trees. Walking in the home, we can see the wood paneled living room and pub rooms, as well as a formal entry way. Zombie decorated the home in his unique taste with some taxidermy animals, movie posters, and his knight in shining armor. Find out more in today's House Tour video.

I live in la and work as a pool man in the hills to many different people including actors. I decided to go and take a photo outside of his gate and as soon as i started to take one rob and sheri were in their vehicle coming out of the gate and I was able to take a photo get a shirt signed and talk to them for a bit. Beautifully kind people. Much love for them

His first home was definitely more conventional and much larger, but his current one is so unique and cozy and weird. I love it.
I loved his old house, there was way more of the horror/medieval decor that I LOVE
This is a listing... which means when he bought it from whoever owned it had it decorated that way. None of those pictures is his stuff it was before he bought the house
@@taykay262 He said a while back that he got rid of all of that stuff he had back then. The only recent stuff he showed a few years ago, is that he kept some props from the movies he did.

@@Salomon_G I suppose he sold/auctioned it off, maybe even for a charitable donation. I guess it got too cluttersome to dust & keep clean. He must not have had any sentimental value for it anymore, for him to let it all go, after spending all that time collecting it. Who knows if it's all kept in a storage facility somewhere...

I remember seeing his older house on an episode of cribs and totally forgot that he had a Pirate bar that I happen to like his old house better then his new one.
Rob Zombie is hands down my favorite musician, and all his movies are in my video library. Absolutely love his music and sexy wife Sherri Moon. Been a huge fan since White Zombie! His homes are amazing, I would love to meet him, and take a tour in his horror basement. Looking forward to the next concert always. Bad ass fuckin Rob!

I Love all of his movies. Have them in my movie collection. All of them. I've got some of his music as well. I agree I love Rob and Sherrys taste for decorating. They have awesome homes. I couldn't even afford to dream about renting half of their garage.

I got hellbilly deluxe and the sinister urge as a 9th birthday present. When my grandpa would pick me up from school I'd hit the cd button on the radio and turn the volume up all the way and would rock out for 3 seconds until my grandpa turned it down....to his credit he only turned it down a smidge and I get it rob zombie must have sounded like shit to him luckily he loved me enough to put up with it

1st listened to his album Hellbilly deluxe..the knowing he would make a movie: a house of a 1000 corpes and with delay over most cutted and violent images...telling about a canabalistic family ..kinda based on Texas chainsaw massacre..wich was also one of my favorite movies..and man ..I was blown away by its presentation......me and my classmates speculated over decades ..before and how a sequel came...devils rejects and really.. I had the best movie and music expierieces with this man ...his music his horror fantasy...jezus..the devil rejects was an underated masterpiece..even his 3 from hell makes a good 3rd part

First house was amazing. Second house was horrendous...
Like it's pretty neat, that dungeon master bedroom with the high up windows and like flat concrete walls is wild. As a building, it's really cool and different.
...but living there? No way. It's a cool clubhouse or just a cool building to be in, but doesn't seem like a good home. Maybe that's why they bought the second property - to have something a little more... comfortable.
That said though, we didn't actually see how they decorated it. Interior design goes a loooong way when it comes to how a home feels. And in all these reno shows snd cribs shows and shit, showing off mansions, 90% of the time people are just reacting to the decorating more than anything else.
So it's entirely possible the Zombies saw something in that building that could be worked on, and the way they've decorated it and designed it makes it waaay more appealing.
Like that master bedroom is so crazy, with the right designer something pretty cool could be made. And honestly I've never understood why people are so convinced master bedrooms (in multi million dollar mansions) need to be huge and comfortable and all that - it's just for sleeping. Us regular people who live in regular abodes need our bedrooms to be multifunctional and comfortable because we don't have 3 million to spend on property and space, but when you can afford a fuckin' compound then you can have a master bedroom that really is for nothing more than sleeping, because you have a million other rooms to hang out in, work in, relax in, shit they've probably even got a sex room separate from the master bedroom...
C B All very good points! I can’t imagine why someone would want a dungeon style bedroom. Dungeons aren’t known to be comfortable! Haha! I’m willing to bet the second house is used more often (for comfort reasons!).
