- Here's the 4th and final "Walkaround" from my visit to Barcelo' Maya. Hopefully next week's will be a "Papaw Rates The Barcelo' Grand Resorts". But that might take more time.

You have stayed at the bahia's and barcelo's in the Mayan Riviera. Which do you prefer?
Nothing wrong with Barceló, but I prefer Bahia Principe. Each of the 4 resorts at Bahia Principe are very different and each of the 4 Barcelo Grand sections are very much the same. I have not experienced Palace or Riviera sections at Barcelo because they are out of my price range.
I chose Barcelo Grand Beach this trip because it was time to experience something different. I’ve been to over 20 resorts and Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Kaan is my favorite resort of all.

Reservations are required. I don’t know if you can make them before arrival.

I got the Costco Mini 2 bundle about 6 months ago and the price was the same yesterday. It’s the best beginner drone there is. Guests at any of the 4 Grand sections (Beach, Caribe, Colonial, Tropical) have full and complete access to everything at all 4.

I stayed in the Beach section. I did record the room but I had something set wrong on my Sony camera and it looked terrible so I didn’t share it.
Music is way too LOUD in this theater!!!! Operators must have had their ear drums blown out. And also distorted.
