The 40th part of the 'Ireland in Rebellion: 1782-1916' lecture series delivered by Professor Patrick Geoghegan, Department of History, Trinity College Dublin www.tcd.ie/
The commentary, welcome and impressive though it is, seems to see any aspect of Irish history which advances the creation of an Irish state as 'good' and anything which hinders the advancement of such an outcome as 'bad'. This seems to offer a narrow perspective rather than a critical perspective. Even if my observation contains only an element of truth it doesn't show TCD in the light of a truth seeking institution but as an agent of nationalist interpretations.
These are a fantastic resource
