I haven’t before seen this level of powerfully performed dance in Argentine tango. Their cutting and flowing movements expand and contract, creating complex and compelling spaces; the dance is absolutely gorgeous and organic. As a dancer, I have waited a long time to see something like this. I would like to see more artists pushing the boundaries of this art with equal brilliance. The finale is utterly powerful and delicious.
Now this is what contemporary tango and a good choreography should look like. None of that "nuevo" kick-the-music-in-the-balls-and-murder-all-emotions kind of "Chicho" style comes near this. This is just beautifully done.

I like them as a couple although i prefer them more to the tango salon style...;)
