How to Handle a Heavy Gouge

In this video I describe the best way to get a "big" heavy reed to play well. Whether it is a heavy weak gouge (which is usually the case) or soft, weak cane. It's important to change the technique of scraping the tip to bring a dolce quality in the reed.
